Was there for only 1 night and they mixed up my reservation. I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give it to me at first until I started getting upset. They take their time coz they said it's "Hawaii'. People are waiting in line so tired. Rooms are so dark and hot.

This place was lovely! Nowhere near as clean and modern as their website would have you believe, but still great. There is an outdoor common area with a kitchen, TV and hammocks. The rooms were comfortable, with decent en-suite bathrooms and large lockers. The location is amazing, 3 minutes walk from the beach, the Zoo and all that Waikiki has...

Friendly, helpful & informative staff! The cheapest hostel! Gets house keeping daily & maintenance when needed. Has it's own cool tours! It's a standard hostel, you get what you pay for. We had the private room at the back of a dorm, cool relaxed place, lots of friendly people literally 1 block away from the beach! Brilliant location. The only...

We stayed here for a week on a budget holiday, and it was by far the cheapest accommodation we could find anywhere in Waikiki. The location is amazing - just one or two streets back from the beach and the main strip in Waikiki. The accommodation is pretty basic, to the point where it's almost run down in some places,...

We stayed in a private room with a double bed and as you would expect from a Hostel, it is very basic. The room was equipped with a fan, bed and a shelf for placing personal items. It was quite warm at night, but this is to be expected in HI in May. The shared bathroom, which was a basic...

If you are planning on visiting the worst hostel in the world - go here. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 6 hours. We had been traveling för 25 hours and were really sleepy. We slept for 4 hours and ran all the way to an expensive hotel. I couldn't even go in the bathroom because the floor was...

Had a great time staying at this hostel during my trip to HI. Was easy to walk into town, close to the beach- its good being one street back from all the hype. They ahd a great activity schedule and I went on an organised hike up Diamond Head. I stayed in a 8 bed dorm room with an ensuite...

I stayed just one night the Polynesian Hostel Beach Club. I booked there cause next morning i had an early flight. Great location to have a walk down in Waikiki beach, attached to the zoo. They organize for you your transfer to the airport for 12$. Thanks to Joe from reception and Bryan the housekeeper! All friendly staff.

We chose this hostel because Hawaii is ridiculously expensive, and it was pretty much the cheapest we could find on a travellers budget. So you need to understand you pretty much get what you pay for. The rooms are extremely basic, however surprisingly spacious which is uncommon in a lot of hostels. They have massive lockers for bags, and the...
