This hostel offers the opportunity to stay in Hawaii right on Waikiki beach affordably. The positives: location, cooking facilities, great customer service and secure gate The negatives: could use a bit of investment - painting, tiles and more secure doors/locks, there is no air conditioning. I've stayed in several hostels in the area, and in my opinion, this is the...

Reasons to stay here: + close proximity to Waikiki beach + very affordable for Honolulu standards + helpful staff + bus stop is just a few metres away + rooms are spacious + large private lockers (BYO lock) Reasons NOT to stay here: - bunk beds are fragile and flimsy. In fact, I was afraid the top bunk would collapse...

I had never stayed in a youth hostel before and I was terrified before going on this trip alone and choosing a hostel, but eventually I was so satisfied. The location was great, within walking distance to Waikiki & some shopping centers, near bus station. I had no problem finding the hostel even on my first day in Hawaii, traveling...

Other than the bad wifi and that the lounge area outside tends to be noisy at times, it's okay compared to the other rundown hostels nearby. Shower and toilet doors needs repair (don't lock properly). The smaller dorm lacks privacy since a connecting private room can only enter/exit through it. Nice friendly management and some of the staffs. And location...

We stayed at the Seaside a couple of weeks ago and it surely was the best choice! The hostel is within walking distance of the beach and all the major bars and shops in Waikiki. It is also secluded enough to ensure a good night´s rest. The atmosphere is friendly and fun; we chatted with other guests and even watched...

The hostel is very close to all the shops and restaurants and 10 min walking from Waikiki Beach. Clean and very friendly staff. They gave us towels and let us have a shower when we were back in Honolulu and were waiting for our flight to leave.

This place has a prime location in Waikiki. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean. They provide towels but no soap or shampoo. The wifi is not that fast. They let us check in early which was nice. Relatively quiet. We stayed there for the 4th of July long weekend. I was expecting it to be very loud but we...

I stayed here for just two nights. Mostly because everywhere else was so expensive. I still found this hostel expensive for what it was though. The furnishings and environment is a big dated our curtains didn't cover the whole window and they didn't open back so you could let air in. The beds are two foam mattresses which don't offer...

The hostel is located right in the heart of Waikiki and it is really close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and it was so lovely of the hostel to also have a pasta night for donations and cook waffles one morning too! All the staff were so helpful and knowledgable about Honolulu. The...

It was very nice, wonderful friendly staff, and some very lovely and interesting people staying there which made this hostel stand out from many others that I have stayed at. As an older traveller I was made to feel welcomed and included by both staff and the younger travellers. It has all the facilities that you could wish for in...
