Stayed 10 nights with the family and loved the location of this hotel - looking directly over a wider sand section of the beach (most of the beach along the Waikiki strip is really narrow), Diamond Head and protected/sheltered swimming areas. I used MyHawaii after shopping around - best deal by far and everything was taken care of upfront -...

A gorgeous hotel with plenty of character and great staff! Whether you want to go dining, shopping or just exploring this hotel is really in the best location. We were booked into the historical part of the hotel, but although the rooms were charming they were not big enough for us. The manager very kindly upgraded us to the new...

The Hyatt Regency is centrally located on the shopping strip across the street from Waikiki strip. In that regard, there is access to a lot of restaurants, shops and steps from The beach. The hotel itself is pretty standard for a Hyatt. The rooms and clean and comfortable but nothing truly fancy. I was surprised that they do give you...

Stayed 7 nights and found the hotel to be central to everything in Waikiki. Check in was a little slow but nothing to complain about really. We had a partial ocean view on 6th floor and it was fantastic. We had a king size bed room which was really large, large ensuite and plenty of cupboard space. Room was very...

In the olden days - staying at the Hyatt was seen as luxurious. Not any more. This hotel is old, run down, and management allow pretty slapdash service. We were travelling as a couple - so why did we get a room with three single beds? When we complained - the only thing that happened were promises - no action...

Aloha, We value your comments and are sorry that your visit was so disappointing. The situation with the beds is perplexing - our rooms at minimum are two doubles. We're following up with the front desk supervisor to investigate the room you may have stayed in and the follow up service from management. We also shared your comments with the...

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. There were some pros for sure but not sure how this is a 4 star. So to start , the pros are that the location is great if you want to be in Waikiki. It's right on the beach and you can walk right out and are very close to shopping, food and...

We just returned from Waikiki Beach stay April 10-15th for the Aloha Spirit Cheer Championships.. The Hyatt Regency hotel was great, staff is friendly and the location is perfect! There was a friendly The Surf Shops surf instructor, just behind the hotel had our kids riding waves their very first time out! The bad: The parking was $30-$35 a day...

We stayed for 5 nights with a high ocean view room. The room was clean and nice. The view was great. The restaurants and all were good. The pool was too small. Valet guys very friendly. Overall I would recommend but understand you are across the street from the public beach.
