Everyone was so friendly and accomadating! Pay the extra to get a full beach view with a balcony! We were able to watch surfers at all times of the day or night! The location was just a few steps from the beach. I'd love to go back!

We spent part of our honeymoon here in September (10 days worth) in 2013 and were gobsmacked when we arrived at the shear size of the place! it is huge, with its own selection of shops and a flury of staff waiting to help you. We were greeted with some iced tea (which was amazing!!) and told that the only...

We stayed here for a week during our honeymoon. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was super-friendly: Grace (Ecuador) at the front desk, Gary from bell staff, the spa staff, housekeeping, Shore restaurant. Thanks to all who helped ensure we had a great stay.

As previous reviewers have mentioned, construction work is under way and noisy from 9 to 5 if I remember right. I do not understand how such a reputed chain can sell rooms for the full price with the room next door being renovated the whole day. This is obviously a holiday hotel where people are looking for some tranquility and...

Aloha Concon4596, Thank you for reviewing your stay. We are glad to read that you enjoyed your visit and would consider choosing us again in the future. The property is large. My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights in September 2014. We had booked a city view room but upon checking in were told they had an ocean view room available in one of the newly renovated rooms however the balcony would be off limits due to construction still occurring in that tower (making sound like we had scored...

Stayed at this property in October. So disappointed in the direction Waikiki has chosen to expand what was once a true Paradise. It’s more like a concrete jungle. While we did have an ocean view it just wasn’t what I expected. The saving grace was the Ambassador Club. Mark the host made it a great time. The food was wonderful....

I am a travel agent at Travel Haus located in St. Louis, MO, and I visited Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach as part of a business trip. It's a big resort, with over 60 shops and boutiques in an open-air atrium. There are three restaurants. We ate a the Asian-inspired Japango--delicious! I think it was my favorite meal of the trip....

We stayed here in October, thinking it would be a nice property being a Hyatt. Although the ocean view room we were given was renovated, the rooms are stark. The bathroom and balcony is tiny, not what one expects from a so called 5 star property. Disappointed to find there was no separate shower, just an overhead shower in the...
