I wish I could say something positive about our experience but sadly, I can’t. From the lack of activities to limited onsite meal options, I was less than impressed with my time at this property. The activities desk staff is only interested in signing you up for a timeshare tour.

Hotel's Favourite
Excellent hotel with great staff everywhere! Kit was incredibly helpful at the front desk. The famous Mac 24/7 restaurant in the hotel serves surprisingly excellent food; be sure to get Joel as your waiter when you can..he is friendly and caring..as ALL the staff!

We stayed here for two night courtesy of Alaska Airlines after they cancelled our flight home at the last minute. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and pretty spacious for a regular hotel room. The pool is decent sized but I think they could do better dressing it up a bit with nicer chairs and umbrellas. The location is pretty central, about a seven minute walk to International Marketplace. Like the two other hotels we stayed in during this trip, there is no maid service. Getting new towels and toiletry is a DIY type of deal. The hotel would be nothing special except for two things. One, our room was on the 30th floor (hotel is 36 stories high) and you will have a spectacular view. You are so high up stepping out on the balcony is actually kind of scary! We didn't even have an oceanview but the view of the mountains was breathtaking. Two, the restaurant downstairs is great. We normally never eat in hotel restaurants as they are usually mediocre and overpriced but this was neither. We had two meals there and eight dinners among the four of us and we were all happy with the quality of the food. The meals were comped by Alaska Airlines but I would actually go back and pay for the reasonably prices, delicious food.

My fiance and I have never been to Hawaii and had zero expectation with what we were to experience. We had originally planned on staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but with all the restaurants being closed on that campus, we adjusted our plans. BOY, ARE WE THRILLED WE DID. Upon arrival, we were greeted and given such great service. Mr. Chen (I am not sure if I am spelling that correctly) made our stay so pleasant and was able to secure us ocean views for the duration of our 6 day stay. Let me tell you, GET YOURSELF THAT UPGRADE. Waking up every morning to that coastline was something I will never forget. The hotel accommodations were as to be expected with the COVID-19 precautions. My only complaint was that I had to travel offsite for alcohol before 4pm, but thankfully those ABC stores are on every corner. We also had to buy cups since there weren't any provided in the room. Something I also attribute to COVID-19 measures. The king bed was so comfortable and the room came with robes. The towel supply was replenished each time we called down. All items were left at the door in a plastic bag for safety. The hotel staff that would drop off each item would knock and I'd say, "Thank you!" down the hall. The carpet in the main room was this plasticy woven material that I think was to prevent sand from getting in the regular carpet. Although I understand the logistics of needing such an item, it was not comfortable to be on for long. Thankfully there was also a chaise lounge in the room. Water pressure was great on the 29th floor. (I have stayed in a few hotels where the higher rooms lacked the water pressure I prefer.) Water tended to get on the counter when I washed my hands and face due to how close the faucet was to the sides, but with as many towels we were given it wasn't a problem that couldn't be solved. I wish the balconies had screens so we could keep the doors open to get the ocean breeze. When we would leave the glass doors open, PIGEONS WOULD TRY TO GET IN. Those lil guys were regular visitors to our balcony during our stay and one actually made it in the room when we weren't looking. Thankfully, they were very calm and just casually walked back out once they were caught. We didn't use the pool too much since we were right by the ocean, but it was so peaceful up there. We did use the jacuzzi twice and it was heated to an ideal temperature. I can see that rooftop being a huge hotspot when there aren't safety measures from a pandemic. The location was very central. We walked all over the city. Each morning, we went to Honolulu Coffee at the Moana Surfrider hotel and it was a wonderful stroll. The valet team was welcoming and kind (SHOUT OUT TO TROY). I think that covers it! Thank you to the Hilton Waikiki Beach team for making our stay so memorable. My fiance and I had a beautiful time. We truly cannot wait to return sometime in the future.

The service is wonderful. Everyone I came in contact with at this property was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Located just a block from the beach, this location allows shelter from the main drag and is not as noisy. The hotel itself is a little dated and could use routine maintenance and better lighting on the lobby level. The island is still opening up post Covid and the on-site dining is limited, not 24/7 as the website states and the executive lounge is no longer in service. Overall, a clean, affordable and pleasant place to stay.
