My stay at The Outrigger's Beachcomber was nothing short of spectacular! The location is absolutely perfect, providing easy access to the beach and local attractions. The front desk agents were exceptional—always available, smiling, and genuinely willing to help with anything we needed.
The rooms were spotless, thanks to the fantastic housekeeping team who kept everything in top shape throughout our stay. We especially loved the cozy café next to the pool, where we enjoyed excellent coffee every morning.
A special mention goes to the Sales department, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their dedication and attention to detail were truly impressive.

This hotel is in the heart of Waikiki Beach, along Kalakaua Avenue across the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and just a few steps to the beach. At the ground floor of the hotel is a restaurant with happy hour and live music at night. Behind the hotel is Kūhiō Avenue which has many eating places. It is also a short walk to the Waikiki Market (second level) where you can find plenty of quick eats for reasonable prices. The room is clean, spacious and well appointed. We liked the decor and the layout of the room especially the airy balcony. The staff, especially Kristina, is very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff keep the room tidy, put ample clean towels, toiletries and coffee amenities. The hotel also provides beach towels and there is a water fountain where you can get drinkable water to go. We will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Waikiki Beachcomber 5 times over the past 10 years, unfortunately during my stay this time I noticed a decline in service and amenities. Value for money was not good, there seems to be alot of cost cutting but does not reflect the price per night.
Hotel: On check in we were provided limited information about the hotel. The hotel appears to be focused on the Cirque du soleil show, avoid the lobby area during the Cirque du soleil show, it is very busy and unpleasant.
Location: The one positive about this hotel is the location. It's located in a central location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, beach and main bus stops.
Breakfast: We received breakfast vouchers for the Hawaiian Aroma Caffe which is located near the lobby of the hotel. The cafe now has a voucher program breakfast menu, with limited options and there is an additional $6 cost if you want to upgrade your selection by ordering an item not on the voucher program breakfast menu. The voucher program breakfast menu has recently been introduced. Previously you were able to order acai bowls with the voucher. The options on the restricted breakfast menu are limited and underwhelming. I would definitely not pay the additional charge for breakfast when booking at the Beachcomber. It is better value to just order what you actually want on the general menu during your stay.
Room: The cleanliness of the room was below par, there were hairs from previous guests in the shower. Amenities are very limited. The shower gel, conditioner and shampoo bottles are attached to the wall in the shower. However, there is no shower cap, vanity kit or slippers available. When we asked house keeping for a shower cap, we were advised that they don't have shower caps for guests. The bath towels were also like sand paper and were very thin.
Resort fees are exuberant. The resort fees include things that are usually included in any hotel (tea and coffee, wi fi, beach towels and access to the pool) or unecessary items (digital album and drawstring bag), not worth the exuberant amount of $47 usd daily (including taxes).
We were very disappointed with our stay.

We booked 2 stays in February either side of a cruise requesting a quiet room. The first stay, was next to the lift with the bell chiming each time the lift arrived into the early hours. We could not be moved as the hotel claimed to be full We asked for a quiet room for our second visit The receptionist confirmed we had a quiet room but music would be playing till 9pm. At 9.15 I contacted Carmen on reception to ask why the noise was still on. Her response was she never said 9pm finish and nor did anyone else She giggled at the thought that anyone would find this an issue and it would only last till ,10pm. She sent security to the room to apologise. How cowardly.

The establishment is very stylish, with a clear and clean themed ambience, very pleasant in all areas. We stayed in a room with a side view of the sea, on a high floor (24th), a great choice in terms of value for money. New facilities, well equipped and impeccably clean, with super comfortable beds. The pool is pleasant, but relatively small, and towels are accessed via a self-service card system, which is very practical. So, the best thing is to go to the beach, which has access very close by. By the way, one of the hotel's greatest assets is its excellent location, in front of the Royal Hawaiian Center, next to the International Market Place, and steps away from great restaurants (such as Duke's) and stores (such as Macy's, H&M and Apple). We have no doubt in recommending it.

An amazing stay located conveniently in the heart of Waikiki. The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel provided such a clean and delightful stay we decided to stay another day. Shout out to Kristina for going above and beyond with assisting in booking us a fairly priced rate when we made the decision to extend into the holiday. The hotel staff were kind and generous all around. I'd definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to the beautiful island of Oahu!

Thank you Outrigger- my first time in Waikiki and I’m so glad I picked this hotel! The location was perfect - just a couple min walk from the beach - lots of shopping and restaurants close as well. The restaurant inside the hotel was perfect too - fun atmosphere, great breakfast and coffee. The Happy Hour is great - $3 beers! I LOVED the pool area - had no problem at all ever getting a chair. Loved the relaxed chill vibe of the pool area - very cool rooftop settings. Get a Lava Flow! Our room was super clean, great view of the beach- my only complaint is at night when you are sitting on the balcony - all you hear is loud humming from the air conditioner. The Bathroom was huge as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel is a beautiful Craft Hotel located in the Heart of Waikiki. As you arrive your Hawaiian vacation awaits . Beautiful water feature on the left and The Gallery is a Coffee Gallery with Art exhibits by local Hawaii Artists located on the right . A short escalator ride to the beautiful lobby featuring color schemes of the oceans of Hawaii . Blue and white hues are surrounded by modern decor yet minimalist as well . I was greeted by Jenni ( host ) was so personable and very welcoming . Jenni has the true aloha spirit . She was very informative about the features at Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber. Jenni also suggested many activities and recommended great restaurants in the area . Across from the front desk they have the. Hawaiian Aroma Cafe and Maui Brewing Company Restaurant locally owned by a Maui Couple . Hawaii crafted beers with a delicious menu as well . Jenni assigned me a stunning and beautiful Room located on the 23rd floor . Stunning views of Diamond Head and Waikiki . Calm and peaceful as I start my Hawaii vacation . I got a chance to meet Jeannette ( housekeeping attendant ) Very friendly and personable . She assisted happily on any questions I had during my stay . Basically I give this hotel all the stars, nothing was missing. Very nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very quiet and not badly soundproofed and everything was generally very clean. If something did break, a technician was there within 5 minutes. In my case it was just the coffee machine. I have been to many hotels around the world and can say that I can generally warmly recommend the Outrigger Beachcomber to everyone. Thank you for the lovely stay! We were there for 2 weeks as a couple.
