We were in town to try out the Verde Canyon Railroad and needed a quiet place to stay nearby. The Blue Heron Guest House met our needs perfectly. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. He took us to the guest house, which is a cute little cabin located on the property. He provided us...

What a gem! We were looking for a place where we could enjoy the general area, including Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Jerome and the Blue Heron Guest House was perfect. Our hosts were great and the Guest House had all the comforts of home. It was quiet, it was restful, it was great. We were even able to have our daughter...

I can't say enough sweet things about the owners. They were willing to be very attentive if you needed it, or they left you alone if that was what you needed as well. The place itself was so very nice and had everything I needed on my trip even though I was only traveling for business to work at a...

We were impressed. Truly. My husband and I were on a vacation, just the two of us. I saw this guest house on Trip Advisor and went with my gut feeling that it would be a unique and special place. And it really was. Tom, the owner, came out as we pulled in and made us feel welcome with his...

No phone. Small TV. A mini cottage. A real escape from the big hotels, busy highways, crowded streets. A small, rustic cottage with everything you need to experience solitude at its best. The room was extremely clean. The atmosphere was simple but cozy and warm. The front porch with rocking chairs took us back to the simple days of the...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Blue Heron for two nights cause we needed a get-a-way weekend last minute that wasn't going to cost us mega money. Thankfully the Verde Valley is just an hour away and it has wineries, flowing water, and beautiful scenery. Since we live in Flagstaff, its easy for us to drive down the mountain...

“The place is a bit tough to find, especially if you arrive at night. If using a GPS, You should avoid the right turn onto Park Road if you're traveling north on South Broadway. You should take the right turn onto Main Street instead from northbound South Broadway. As an aside, it looks like the dirt road (Western Ave) off of Park Road might go through, but the road looked pretty bad when we arrived there...”
