I cannot speak highly enough about this extraordinary in. The gorgeous property is only rivaled by the exceptional and impeccable service. My husband and I went for two nights to celebrate a handful of celebrations. We had been looking forward to returning to the Francis Malbone House since we visited in February 2016 and we were not disappointed. From the...

Cozy weekend in Newport turned out to be a rainy one until today, Sunday, which was gloriously sunny. The innkeepers of course are not responsible for the weather! The service here is excellent. All staff are friendly and go the extra mile to ensure guests comfort. This was our second stay. The afternoon tea is delightful and a real pleasure...

The Francis Malbone House is a wonderful place to relax and be pampered. Sumptuous tea and breakfast, comfy beds, quiet nights, and soothing gas fireplaces helped us rest deeply and recharge. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Inn is clean and very well maintained.

We spent three days and two nights at The Francis Malbone House this weekend, and it was the best experience we've ever had! First, before all else, the staff is remarkable! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we felt like we were visiting friends! Accommodating, friendly, and always a smile, we felt welcomed. From stopping...

Originally, we had a reservation for The Chanler at Cliff Walk. However, when we saw this inn, I cancelled that reservation and booked a room here. We are very glad that we did. The location is perfect if you want to park the car and not move it at all - but still see all the sights and experience wonderful...

We stayed here for a Sunday night in April. The Inn was lovely with real character. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, There was an easy to find car park. The Inn has all the menus from nearby restaurants and then once we had selected a restaurant they then made a reservation for us. Lovely...

When my wife and I wanted to go to Newport for a birthday dinner at one of her favorite restaurants (Buchard's), we decided to make it into a short trip and began looking into places to stay. On the recommendation of someone we know in Newport, we booked into The Malbone House. Although it had not sufficiently stood out among...

Dear Eddytor, What a beautifully written review. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with other travelers. The words "great tranquility and charm" jumped off the page at me. It truly is a great description for the inn. There is a sense of peace and relaxation from the time you enter. Your taste is impeccable with a...

We were a party of eight! Reserved four rooms. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. They set up a private dining room to accommodate the eight of us. There are several beautiful sitting rooms with wood burning fireplaces which the staff would light when we sat down to relax. The food was fabulous. The rooms were very...
