We consider Francis Malbone our second home and we couldn't imagine celebrating anywhere else. FM made us feel so special from the moment we arrived to the regrettable moment we had to leave…The staff is amazing, their breakfast and afternoon tea is out of this world, the rooms are beautiful and comfy……Francis Malbone is simply the BEST B&B in the...

Centrally located to enjoy all that Newport has to offer. The inn is well appointed, adorned with exquisite antiques but will all the comforts of modern amenities. The staff is warm and welcoming offering a tour and brief history upon arrival. The bountiful breakfast and delectable afternoon tea is not to be missed. We will be visiting the Francis Malbone...

What a difference, a bed that is comfortable! The staff is first rate and the accommodations are immaculate. Waking up to the odor of that breakfast is worth the trip. Michael the chef, is to be commended on on his breakfast. He even took the time to describe to us how he got eggs to taste so good. We thought...

This was our second time staying at the Francis Malbone House and it was as amazing as the first! This time we stayed in the Harborside Room No. 2 which was very spacious and comfortable. The Inn is impeccably kept with fires roaring and the afternoon tea is second to none. Will and his staff do an incredible job in...

Hello Michael, Thank you for the kind review. We are flattered that you have chosen to stay with us not once, but twice. We are thrilled that you found the inn comfortable and relaxing. Our staff takes great pride in those comments. Harborside Two just happens to be a favorite room of mine, as well. The four windows and high...

Want a home-away-from home and then some! You have to stay @ the Malbone House. By far the best in Newport. From the scrumptious breakfasts, to a high tea in the afternoon, they are over the top. That's not even including the staff who make you feel right at home. Pick any room on your visit, you won't be disappointed.

We have been staying at B&B's whenever we can for several years now. We have stayed at the Francis Malbone House either 3 or 4 times and each time it has been excellent. They have spoiled us. We always compare the B&B we are at with the FMH. The place is excellent for a big B&B. The room we had...

All I have are wonderful things to say about the Francis Malbone House. From the warm greeting when we arrived, the beautifully appointed rooms and the genuine hospitality we experienced... I would highly recommend this lovely B and B to anyone looking to visit Newport. The breakfasts were excellent and they also catered to anyone's individual dietary needs. And the...

Dear Amilesrt, It was so nice to have both of you here during our snow day! You even put yourself to work moving wood and tending the fire. I'm so glad you were able to make yourself "at home". That is a huge compliment to us! Glad to hear the food was a pleasant experience for you. You appeared to...

Dear Allbarstl, So glad you were able to be here for our special St. Patrick's Day celebration. We wish the weather had cooperated, but it certainly didn't stop us here at the Malbone. Anne Maria pulls out all the stops on the parade day. The Irish Coffee and her homemade scones and beef stew, have guests booking a year in...

We can see why this gets such great reviews. The initial welcome was very warm and all the staff were lovely. Its centrally located and has its...

Gorgeous room with fireplace, beautiful old inn (notice the floorboards) elaborate breakfasts, afternoon tea worth coming back for, lovely, helpful staff. Very convenient to waterfront, shopping, dining and the mansions. Couldn't love this place more!

Dear KG, Thank you for such a kind review. I am thrilled with your appreciation of the house. The wide plank floorboards in the original house are my absolute favorite. I find it fascinating that those are the original floors from the 1760's. Tea is certainly worth coming back for. I think it is the high point for most guest!...
