Loved the location - off a quiet street in Newport, within walking distance to the Cliff Walk, marina, and other restaurants. Mark and Lauren were so helpful with recommendations and were around during the day and early evening which is nice for questions and recommendations. Marks breakfast of a Portugese omelet was delicious, and he let us use their bikes...

We booked the Brass room for 3 persons. Ik was really a wonderful nice room, in white and blue colors. The king bed was super nice and very high. The breakfast is also super! This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first. It is very professionally run with lovely accommodations and a first class breakfast. We booked our same room for next year before we left! (Newport Folk Festival weekend)

My friends and I traveled to Newport to visit the mansions and were looking to find a nice affordable place. We stumbled upon this Bed and Breakfast and were very happy with our stay. Overall, it is a nice place, we stayed in the Brass Room. The king bed was extremely comfy, but the single bed was hard as a...

My husband and I stayed at the Marshall Slocum Guest House Sunday night for a nearby wedding and this is one of the better B&B's we have stayed at in Newport. The set up of our room had a spiral staircase leading up to the bathroom which was not the most convenient layout but it was the only room available....

Our group of 8 tennis friends stayed at the Marshall Slocum one night while attending the grass court championships at the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame. This is a B & B (in a very old house) which was well run, very clean and included a delicious breakfast (menu included blueberry stuffed french toast!). The rooms are each unique in...

The Marshall Slocum Inn was a wonderful place to stay. It was just a short walk to Bellevue Ave and then on down to the wharf area. Our room was nicely decorated, bed was comfy, and we had our own bath. The entire house was also very welcoming and comfortable and decorated very nicely. Coffee tea and snacks were available....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. We were in Newport for a wedding and were able to enjoy the lovely deck and terrific brunch both Saturday and Sunday. Not only was our stay amazing, but we accidentally left behind a FitBit and the staff were kind enough to mail it back to us right away. A great...
