The Simeon Potter House in Newport is a wonderful B&B right on the water. Great location with being able to walk across Gladys Carr Bolhouse Rd to Goat Island and see the Newport Shipyard while also having a close location to Thames Street. This historic house has rooms with wonderful views and the sweetest host. Joanna does a great job...

Gorgeous B and B. Located on the point. Had a lovely stroll through the neighborhood one afternoon. The house was located close to town so it was an easy walk. The house was spotless. The room was immaculate and had amazing towels and sheets. A five star experience in a wonderful town!!!! Plenty of great activities and restaurants. Loved the...

We had a romantic weekend at the Simeon Potter House. It was lovely. Loved the location, amazing renovation, the floor boards, the doors, that's why it won the Newport Historic Preservation Award. The room and bathrooms were neat. Great value. Friendly host. We loved everything and definitely will be back.

The Simeon Potter House was amazing. We had such a great couple’s weekend. We rented the North and South chambers. The location was perfect for us, walking distance from all the wonderful restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, also loved the furniture. The house is over 300 years old and was renovated to perfection. The neighborhood is lovely to...

It is located in the Point, the oldest section of Newport and it is designated a National Historic Landmark District. It is centrally located and walking distance to many restaurant, shops, and outdoor activities. The harbor is...

Like the previous review appoints, the house is greatly well located outside the busy port, and Joanna, the owner is indeed nice. However, I consider this the worse experience I've ever had booking online. First, even though the pictures shown in their great website are real, they seem somehow tricky, as they don't match the real thing, or at least...

Nice little place. We researched b&b's in Newport and decided that this was the best to stay at. After our trip, we KNEW it was. This was just outside the center of a very busy, touristy Newport, but well within a 5 minute walk. We saw some other places that we researched that were in the center of Newport and...
