This is a lovely hotel located in the center of the harbor area.
We arrived late afternoon, but there was a parking space available as the hotel has a strict 1 car per room policy and a permit is required which was given to us...More
We stayed at the Harborside Inn the evening on May 11, 2018. We had 2 rooms booked (one on the 2nd floor, the other on the 3rd). There are only 15 rooms at this hotel and 15 parking spaces. They're located right off Thames Street...More
We really enjoyed our stay here. To start, parking is scarce in Newport, but the inn has parking right in front. It says "Permit Parking Only" -- they give you a permit to put in your window.
Check in was quick and friendly. We were...More
We came to Newport by accident, as our friend's home on the Cape had flooded. We found Harborside Inn based on reviews- and it lives up to the hype. Great location and charm, charming breakfast room and super friendly front desk. To top it off,...More
I wish we had more time to spend here. Great location and great water view. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. This inn is close to great shopping, eating and the mansions to tour. My children are teenagers and said this was one of their...More

Hello, Emily! Yes, we do have availability for a three-night stay on the evenings of June 16, 17, 18. Our two-bedded options are a City View or Water View Suite. In either case, you would have 2 double beds (king or queen) and your own small, private balcony. The beds are in separate sleeping areas on two different levels - one bed on the main level and the other in a sleeping loft. City View Suites are larger, and the loft is accessed by carpeted stairs. In the Water View Suites, the loft is accessed by climbing a wooden ship's ladder. The Harborside does NOT have an elevator, unfortunately, and all our guestrooms are on the second or third floor. We are always happy to help carry luggage up the stairs, of course, if that helps. Please note that parking, continental breakfast, and wifi are included in all rates. If we can answer further questions or take a reservation for you, please don't hesitate to call us directly at 401-846-6600. A direct reservation is always best, because we can make sure you get exactly the right room for you! We hope to welcome you to Newport in June!
