This park has great trees. Staff was initially friendly and accommodating. However, we were not able to use the pull-thru spot that they assigned at our arrival due to 3 vehicles parking too close to road and a big tree that prohibited our turning appropriately so we could pull into the assigned slot. We have a 36' motor home and... More

We were using Flagstaff as a base for touring the area, so this campground worked out perfectly. Its in town location worked out great, close to restaurants, grocery stores and other "city" amenities while still having a woodsy feel. The back of the property adjoins Forest Service property, so hiking trails are very convenient. They have a large area for... More

We stayed at this park for a night on our way to Monument Valley. The entrance to the park sets the expectations. After checking in, we drove past some sites with broken down trucks, and junk everywhere. This leads to other campers leaving their coolers, kids toys and trash outside contributing to a dumpy park appearance. The good is that... More

We stayed here for two nights while touring flagstaff and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The campground is clean and quiet at night. They don't have posted quiet times, so people start making noise quite early. The only thing that we didn't like is that it felt pretty crowded because of the small spaces between campsites, it is... I've stayed at a few KOAs and this is also a good one! We planned to site see around the local area but spent a good 1/2 day enjoying the kamp korall activities for the kids and the nice wooden playground. As expected the lot was full so you get to know your neighbors. Facilities are clean and staff friendly,... More

I struggled with what rating to give this place because it felt to me like two totally different places depending on which campsite you were assigned. We car camped here and our originally assigned site was next to a cinderblock wall (on the right hand side of the campground as you are looking at the registration office) in between two... More

Bathrooms were clean in the mornings, but by afternoon, not so much. Campsites were not very level - we had a lot of trouble getting our camper to level up due to this. They also did not enforce quiet time rules. The Playground hours were posted as 8 am to dusk, but kids were over there screaming as early as... More

We recently stayed at the Flagstaff KOA for several nights while participating in a regional art show. While the staff was courteous and the campground had all of the usual KOA stuff (cabins, playground, dog walk area, nature trail, 'Kamp Kitchen', etc.) the camp is dusty and the most crowded campground where we have ever stayed. There is little chance... More

This is a beautiful park full of mature pine and other native trees. We have been camping here for over 12 years, stayed 8 times. The travel trailer/RV parking spots are now up to five inches OFF LEVEL. On the last row, next to the forest all RV trailers had to place several blocks under the tires. Some spots are... More

My wife and I decided to spend a night at the KOA in Flagstaff. I called to make a reservation for Saturday and was told that there were plenty of spaces and I didn't need one. When we got there, there around 1 PM on Saturday there were around two less then desirable spaces left. We decided to stay anyway.... More
