You can tell the new owners have put a lot of work into the Mayneview Inn. We enjoyed every minute of our brief stay. We enjoyed the short stroll to (a delicious) dinner (on the front porch) at the Mimslyn Inn just up the way. And the relaxing soak in the hot tub was the perfect end to the evening....

We loved our upstairs suite. The whole house was charming and well-kempt, the view from the comfy rockers on the front porch (of town and the Shenandoah mountains) was super picturesque, breakfast was very tasty. But the best part was the owners -- Bryce and Gregory. Down to earth, fun to talk with, totally committed to making the B&B an...

On the way from North Carolina to upstate NY, we decided to visit the Shenandoah National Park. Really enjoyed our stay at the MayneView B & B! The Inn was very clean, beautifully renovated and our room on the second floor was very comfortable with great views from both windows. Wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching...

This is a newly renovated older style house. We stayed in the Lookout' room. It was beautiful, with fabric on the walls and the most comfortable bed ever. We had breakfast on 2 days, which were excellent with plenty to chose from. The 2 new owners are doing a fantastic job. The b&b is within walking distance of the little...

My husband and I spent a night here on a weekend in the Valley. It is obvious they have done significant remodeling recently and taken care to maintain the lovely character of this home. Loved the views and enjoyed visiting on the porch. Bryce went out of his way to make sure they had vegan options at breakfast for my...

The Mayneview was a very fortunate choice. The inn has been beautifully refurbished. It still has all the character with gorgeous molding and charm, and the refinished floors are just beautiful. The inn sits up on a hill and I could sit on those rocking chairs and look out over those mountains forever. Breakfast was wonderful. Donna and John took...

My husband and I just returned today from a short, one-night stay at MayneView and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. From the minute we got there, we felt at home. Donna greeted us and was so friendly. The porch was lovely, the house absolutely charming, our room (the Overlook) clean and cozy (with a Tempurpedic...

The lovely and attractive pictures posted online of Mayneview were likely taken when the inn was first established. Sadly, they no longer represent this B and B adequately. We stayed for two days and were thoroughly disappointed. The bed was most uncomfortable and old. Thankfully, there was a foldable cot in our room as well as just outside our door....
