We stayed at South Court Inn for a first trip to Shenandoah N.P. I loved this place!!! It was so quiet, comfortable and relaxing after long days of hiking in the park. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch visiting with the neighbor's cat, or having tea and cookies downstairs in the sun room. The breakfasts were great for...

Our room was very nice and roomy. The whirlpool tub is big enough for two and very relaxing. The King size bed was extremely comfortable and loved the duvet bedding ! We stayed for two nights while visiting Luray and found the Inn very comfortable and nice. The people of Luray were very friendly as well. We llo forward to...

And we look forward to hosting you again as well! Personally, we never tire going up to the Shenadoah National Park and hiking there. Same trail on a different day results in a different experience. It's really magical, isn't it. The best part is, as long as you all continue to boost her ego for cooking, the more she wants...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at South Court Inn for two nights. The inn is super-clean and very attractively decorated. Our room was a deluxe king and quite comfortable.Location is very convenient to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park.Adelheid and Mike are most welcoming owners and hosts and gave us very good suggestions for hikes in Shenandoah.Breakfasts were...

The Shenandoah National Park resorts were full in October for the second and third days of our Skyline Drive adventure, so I booked a stay at the South Court Inn Bed and Breakfast. I am so glad I did. Our cottage was more comfortable, cozier, and cleaner than the Skyland Resort, and Adelheid's breakfasts surpassed the park concessionaire's meals. This...

Another shout out "Thank You". We're very happy to have to Cottage to offer and of course, more people at the breakfast table just makes Adelheid's day!

A lot of B&B's do the 'bed' part well, but mess up on the 'breakfast' by making meals that are too froo-froo. So many sauces and odd ingredients that the basic taste gets lost. South Court Inn does a really great breakfast. Artfully presented, filling, and prepared in a way that compliments and enhances the meal, rather than overwhelming it.

Adelheid REALLY appreciates this review! She loves to cook and is constantly looking for more interesting ways to prepare and present food… Really, I'm beginning to think the whole B&B idea (hers) is just an excuse to play with food, cook for lots of people and collect dishes!!

Fantastic visit! Innkeepers Adelheid and Mike have created a wonderful oasis in the center of the Shenandoah Valley. A beautiful historic home, with large rooms, high ceilings, exquisite furnishings and touches make the Inn like a luxurious second home. All of those things that a guest might need or want have been anticipated, the result making one feel that his...

We spent two nights in this lovely appointed B&B. Our hosts Aidlehide and Mike were very friendly and informative. We stayed in the Turquoise room but it should be renamed as there's nothing turquoise in it : ). We had access to most of the house and the breakfast was more than we could eat and very delicious. The bed...

Thanks for the great review! Yes, Turquoise... Funny, right? Well it used to be turquoise but when renovated got a whole new look themed to travel (Northern Europe) but to keep it aligned with the other rooms (Gold actually has been themed to Africa as well) until they are all changed over we kept the name the same. Probably more...

This was our first stay at a B & B and are very thrilled that we picked South Court Inn. The owners are very welcoming and great to talk with on the front porch rockers and sun porch. Breakfasts were delicious and served with wonderful flare. The house itself is large and enjoyable, while being close to local site seeing,...

So you found a book you liked? Fabulous! That's what it's all about here, relaxing and unwinding, life is very different here in the "valley". Very laid back and conductive to sitting in the Sunroom, sipping a coffee, nibbling on one of Adelheid's snacks and… reading a book! Or you can hike, or visit a winery or… not listen to...

There was nothing about this B&B with which you could find fault. It was spotlessly clean and little touches such as different cookies each day, chocolates and fruit in the sunroom and water in a fridge in your room made this a home from home. Thank you Adelheid for a wonderful two days. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and beds very comfortable. Several amenities throughout the house to make us feel pampered. Location is close to downtown so an easy walk to dinner. The breakfasts were delicious and coffee delivered to our room each morning was an added touch. My only criticism would be that the grounds were a little...
