We had a three bedroom cabin with two baths and a full kitchen. The rooms were comfortable, nice bedding, and very clean. There was a nice view from the patios. The hotel is very close to the park entrance so there's a lot of traffic. And the cabins face the road, so there's too much traffic noise.

Great place to stay when visiting Sequoias, about 1/4 mile away. Had second floor room overlooking river and mountains. Nice breakfast in room each morning featuring fresh ground coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and muffins. Highly recommend.

Just back from a very wonderful 6 night stay. Despite a delayed access to our room at check-in (with big apologies), everything else went very well. Good shower. Comfy bed. Very clean. Even though we had a budget room, it was more than spacious enough. Natural gardens, enjoyed hearing the sound of birds and the rushing river, with a view...

The beauty, cleanliness and the pleasant and efficient night manager, Rose, made this peaceful setting the number ONE stay on our journey through awesome California. Fresh coffee beans were supplied for a great cup of coffee along with a nourishing breakfast basket. The relaxing patio outside the rooms was superb with plenty of comfortable seating to absorb the sounds of...

The place is a little rustic but the room was clean, and the king mattress was very comfortable. Our room had a slider with a walkout to the rocky river only 10 yards away. For the $125 rate the room was fairly priced and a very good value based on the location just outside Sequoia NP.

We loved staying here. We stayed in Alta and had a great big deck, which we shared with the guests in the next room but that was never a problem. Very comfortable sitting room, a full kitchen and a spacious bedroom. It was extremely well lit, one of the best we've stayed in for that, and cool despite the 100...

This hotel completely over-performed. It was very quaint and charming! Our room overlooked the river and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio for the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Breakfast included juice, muffins and a couple types of fresh fruit. The staff was expremely helpful and friendly. And ... only a quarter mile drive to Sequoia National Park.

We arrived pretty late, after dark and almost before the office closed. The nice guy in the office checked us in and got us situated. There is no cell service here. Luckily there is wifi. It is not a fancy place but perfectly fine for a nights rest on the way to Sequoia National Park. The location is in a...

A lovely little hideaway in the mountains with a wonderful, helpful front desk manager (whose name I forgot to take). We didn’t have the breakfast option, so can’t comment on the food, though there’s a convenient diner across the road/next door (depending on which side of the lodge you stay). The lovely suite/self-catering apartment was well stocked, Comfortable and spacious....

I gave this place only 3 stars, not because there was really anything wrong, but because of all the things that could be much better. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. The room rates were reasonable for this area, but that is also the problem. I would have paid $200 or more if the place in much better shape....
