I stayed at Sequoia Motel (SM) recently when I attended the 3 Rivers Artist Tour. SM has cabins as well as rooms and is nestled in a naturally beautiful, shaded, green and flowery grounds. It's a serene and happy place to sit outside and read a book, visit with friends, watch the sunset and just enjoy nature. Restaurants, market, shops...

We stayed at this motel for two nights whilst visiting Sequoia and had a very pleasant stay. We had one of the standard queen rooms, which was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was quite old-fashioned and rustic, but in a charming way! The owner, Chris, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. There is also a really lovely pool...

Sequoia Motel is a great place to unwind, decompress and enjoy the redwoods, hiking, cold mountain streams, nature walks, and clean fresh air. Come as you are, drop-on-by, anytime. Chris and the gang are always home and would love to see you. This is a great vacation spot for all ages. I'm goin' back. Soon. Anon!

We were a bit wary when we turned up and appeared to be the only customers. I couldn't actually see anything that looked like the photos on its website. The main part of the room was clean, neat and even had some books on the shelf left by previous visitors. However, the shower was badly in need of de-limescaling and...

My friend and I both live in Las Vegas, and work in major strip hotel/ casinos for many years. We were not expecting a five star hotel by no means and regretted passing by the comfort inn after we checked out our rooms later that night after a long drive up the spectacular sequoia state park mountains. I can honestly...

OK, first look at the prices per night and the location. This is a cheap place. So there are some small issues: WiFi only works in the vicinity of the office, the rooms are smaller than average, the AC can bearly handle the temperature. BUT i would definitely recommend the place. The owner is lovely, it is quiet, it is...
