The hotel is nicely renovated and have very large rooms! The layout of the room is a little strange if you're trying to lay on the bed and watch TV. The TVs are not that great and the remotes are so frustrating. I know it isn't isolated as 2 of my business partners experienced the same. The gym is very...

Just spent two nights at this hotel. It's a great location; very friendly help; modern and clean. What you would expect from Marriott. We enjoyed their breakfast too. It is walking distance to some pubs and shopping, and within a 3 minute or so drive to major stores. Wonderful Parks nearby too.

I arrived late in the evening and had been traveling with a broken hand. The front desk was extremely helpful and made it easy for me to get checked in. I was really grateful for this kindness. The room was great, the hotel quiet, and convenient to many places to eat in a plaza right next door. The location was...

Front desk very welcoming and friendly, always helpful. Room was good size with fridge and microwave. They have a small bistro so you wont find complimentary coffee or breakfast. Really nice size lobby area with plenty of sitting areas to accommodate groups of people sitting together. We had group of over 30 and found places to sit and even bring...

Booked this hotel because of its price and reviews - had been driving PCH all day and need a good night's rest. It did not disappoint. Huge room, clean, modern, friendly staff. Would have been a great hotel for a longer stay. Lucked into finding this one and glad I did.

Stayed here for a week while my daughter was attending swim camp at Cal Lutheran University. The hotel looks a little older from the outside but recent remodel has the inside looking brand new. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Small courtyard pool is a quiet spot to hang out in the sun. The hotel does not offer free breakfast but...

One of the few hotels that has two king beds in one room. It was roomy, clean, comfortable. Loved that! This is a bit far from tourist activities, much further drive than appears on a map, about 45 minutes without traffic, but it's in a nice suburban area. Felt safe, chili's shares the parking lot so that was convenient when...

Lobby and room were contemporary, comfortable, and up-to-date. Had a small issue with wifi that was resolved with a quick call to the front desk. Only complaint was 2 - $20 "authorization" fees that were charged to my credit card (didn't see these until I returned home). These were not mentioned by check-in staff at check-in or check-out. My understanding...

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we are glad that you found things to be clean and well appointed. We apologize that you were taken by surprise for the authorization; the process isn't unique to Marriott and Marriott doesn't benefit from the authorization. The authorizations basically establishes a line of credit for typical items that the guest might charge to...

After a long, hot drive from SF, Courtyard Thousand Oaks was a welcome oasis. The check-in person (a trainee) was hospitable, courteous, welcoming. The room was nothing special but comfortable. The location is convenient -- close to a couple of restaurants, Target, etc. Convenient stop right off 101.

The staff was wonderful. Our first night was terrible as our room faced east and was near the trash dumpster.
