We stayed at the Lodge at Santa Fe as a family after Christmas (2021). I am giving a a lot of grace for COVID, but even with that there are things that need to be addressed. First among them is also the subject of many other reviews - worn, dirty carpet in the rooms and hallways and the entire place needs a deep clean and a coat of brightening paint. As to the rooms themselves - small. It was a room. The double room has full size beds, not queen. No fridge, no microwave. At this price point and billing itself as a three star hotel you need a fridge in the room, especially because there is no breakfast onsite or within walking distance. There was a Keurig and coffee supplies were plentiful at the front desk, but you aren't going to want to spend a lot of time in your room if it's a standard room. And the other upgrade needed is the lighting - it's SO dark. The bathroom was clean and bed linens were nice and clean. The TV in the room was ancient - not a smart TV and no DVD player (we had some with us), so that is also something I would not expect in a property that bills itself as three star. The hallway carpets also need replacing, but more than that, in my opinion, the outer doors are not secured at night. The property itself is in a really nice setting and the pool and hot tub area are lovely. My family used the hot tub, which was a nice break at the end of the day. This property apparently used to have a restaurant and bar, but no more. Again, COVID, but there is literally no common area other than a couple of couches in the lobby. They just need something else/more. Service was overall good with staff obviously trying hard to work for their guests. In fact, the reason this review is three stars instead of two is that the staff were friendly and receptive. One major note to the hotel management - everyone gets that housekeeping staff is overworked and hard to come by b/c of COVID, so don't offer housekeeping service if you're only going to flatly tell the guest that service is impossible, which is what happened when we checked in - emphasis on "flat." The workaround was leaving trash and towels outside the room and picking up more towels at the desk each day. That would be annoying in normal times but understandable right now. Just be upfront. I might stay here again with improvements to the property. It's not walkable to anything, but it is pretty central. And there is a great view of the mountains. But at the price we paid plus the extra $25 a day in resort fees I probably would have booked cheaper elsewhere because you're going to have to drive to the city center anyway.

We stayed in a junior suite, room was dirty, bathroom was in horrible shape, tv didn't even offer all channels on guide, at checkout at 7am the desk clerk was asleep behind counter and didn't wake up after saying good morning. We paid $250 all in and i would have been better off at a Motel 6. Stay away!

We enjoyed our visit to this lovely hotel. Very clean and the pool area is very nice. The only thing we would like different is for them to have a bar and grill as theirs was closed due to covid.totally understand my with all the covid restrictions but it is definitely something we look for when we plan a trip. Overall, we will definitely stay here again in the future and recommend it to anyone coming to Sante Fe.

The staff at this hotel was very helpful. The rooms are large but in need of an update. The plumbing never worked properly if you want maid service, be sure to request it a day in advance There is a $25/night service fee but I can’t say what service we received. The hotel is very conveniently located. I don’t think it took more than 10 minutes to drive anywhere. However, if you want to walk everywhere, this is not the place to stay

The view is beautiful and the front desk employees are very friendly and provided great customer service. I wish the restaurant and bar can open soon. Although the place can use some updates it is a very nice place to stay.
