This little inn is clean, comfortable, safe and quiet, considering the location. The rooms are very clean and are outfitted with everything you need including lights and abundant electrical jacks in all the right places. The offerings for coffee and breakfast include instant oatmeal, boxed cereals, yogurt, muffins and Danish. The only thing I would have preferred is a low sugar pastry- this is the only place I have ever seen TWINKIES on offer for Breakfast!!! So many of us should be avoiding sugar, toast or English muffins would be appreciated. This is a super little motel with lots of good eats nearby including Jambo across the street , and excellent Greek and Indian restaurants just next door. I would definitely stay here again.
The room is big and clean, with fridge and microwave. The room is very comfortable, although the outside appearance is not very desirable. The Hotel is not within the Santa Fe downtown/plaza, and a bit of a drive. It is besides the India House (where we had a good dinner) and a Greek restaurant. Exiting from the parking area from the backside is a bit tricky though. While the accommodation is good, the proprietor/manager is not friendly and not accommodating. It seems he wants to do away with the check-in/check-out process the fastest way possible. There is no professional/customer service from this Hotel. Our inquiries were answered in an unfriendly way and the person at the front desk seems to be dismissive. I don't think I will stay in this Inn in the future; a Hotel near the downtown area would be more convenient, and hopefully with better customer service.…
Room appeared to be recently renovated. Comfy bed, everything was nice and clean. Mini refrigerator/freezer and microwave were provided. Location on Cerrillos Rd was convenient to the old town area. Man running the front desk was very nice. I appreciate healthy food choices and fortunately, the breakfast included a non-sugary cereal with milk although much of the rest of the offerings were high in sugar, including the yoghurt.
Man, what a mixed bag. Bottom line - cheap, clean budget motel that's nicer on the inside than the outside. The bed was comfy and clean. The shower was not that clean. The amenities sucked - we got a few aluminum squeeze containers of shampoo for a 3 night stay and were told to come ask for more. The check in guy was not very welcoming at all. At the same time. SF is an expensive an awesome town, so we were happy to have a clean place to sleep. So, on balance, it's a basic budget option, but don't expect any frills at all.
I can only give it a 3-star because First: a bit expensive for a place that is a little bit old. I don’t really see an upgrade, about $90 a night & we’ve stayed here for 2-nights. Second: Expensive place that have a muffin for breakfast that we didn’t even used because they open the lounge at 9am and as a first time tourist to visit this place, we’re out at exactly 7am. <smh> And lastly: SD TV in today’s high tech time, unbelievable. I taught my eyes have problems watching grainy NBA game. <smh> I should’ve find some place especially hotels nearby for the same price or maybe equal. I won’t recommend this place. I will not be back here again.
