Very nice place to stay and conveniently located. Good breakfast in the morning, with fireplace to keep you warm. Friendly front desk, and very nice sherry and cookies servied in the lobby each afternoon. Rooms are well appointed, but the carpeting is getting old, and the water pressure could be a bit stronger. A bit of a spruce-up is needed....

A friend and I went to BeadFest in Santa Fe and decided to stay at the Inn of the Governors instead of the sponsoring hotel. A perfect choice all the way around. From the welcome at the front desk to housekeeping to restaurant personnel to the bar personnel, everyone made us feel welcome and at home. Our room had a...

The coolest place I've stayed at since The Hibiscus Lodge. Great place with tons of character. The in-room fireplace is a must. They restock your fire wood daily and keep more stacked nearby. Huge breakfast included every morning. The front desk and housekeeping service are both very thorough and professional. Good restaurant, too. Walking distance to the plaza and Canyon...

Skiing and golf trip to Santa Fe with our ski club. I would say their motto is all about hospitality. Del Charro was great, breakfast buffet was perfect. Hidden Refrigerator in room. Great showers in room. Small parking spacing, but lots of it.

So many nice touches at this inn. Our room (one of the more economical options) was a basic motel-style room, but with great art and Santa Fe touches throughout. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The heated pool is very pleasant, and the fantastic breakfast buffet and complimentary sherry happy hour were very enjoyable additions. The restaurant/bar on...

We've stayed here regularly for years. This year it cost us almost $250 per night (inc tax + fees). Its not worth that. The location is great, the breakfast delicious, and the $15 credit handy. But the room was near the roof of the restaurant and the fan was noisy and the air stinky. The bathroom is extremely small (think...

We had a wonderful trip to Santa Fe, and our choice of accommodation at the Inn of the Governors was a big part of our enjoyment. We were very conveniently located between the Santa Fe plaza, and the New Mexico State Capitol. We had a king room with fireplace for a two night stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable...

I booked this hotel for my parents who were traveling through the state and celebrating their wedding anniversary. I had friends who highly recommended this hotel. I made the reservation with my credit card and stated specifically on the reservation form that my parents were spending their wedding anniversary there. You'd think that would have been acknowledged by the hotel...

Dear STEMflicka, I definitely understand your frustration at not having your expectations met and am so sorry we missed the mark. While we can't always guarantee an upgrade or amenity for a special occasion, we should always offer a happy greeting acknowledging the occasion. We do have processes in place when someone else pays for a guest. If you have...

My two son's and I stayed there about 2 weeks ago. First off, great location, rooms our super clean and comfortable. Charlene was great to find a place to park our car. Restaurant is reasonably priced, especially considering location to downtown, also keep in mind an incredible breakfast awaits, included in our hotel fee. Now for the negative.. there is...

We love this place. So close to the Plaza, great breakfast buffet, nice little Sherry happy hour in the afternoon. We stay in a mini-suite, which has a King bed, fireplace and pull-out couch and a good amount of space. The little box of local chocolates with a personally addressed Thank You for Staying Again is a nice touch. They've...
