This is what you hope your bed and breakfast will be when you make your reservation. I stayed for 5 nights and was made to feel at home - except better. They provide impeccable hotel like service and cleaning, friendly staff (and owners) and a wonderful fire place to curl up next to. The one small problem I had they...

Listen folks! I don't write reviews! This is my first one. Madeleine Inn is warm, cozy, friendly, kind, delicious, and their massages are tremendous...the whole package was dreamy! Location to downtown CAN NOT be beat! We will stay there again! What delicious blue-corn waffles, what a sweet staff. Hope you have as nice a time there as we did!

We are so honored you broke with tradition and decided to write a review of your stay at The Madeleine and our Absolute Nirvana Spa. How wonderful that you were so enamored with our waffles, as well as your massage. We shall welcome you back with open arms.

The Madeleine is privately located at the corner end of an enchanted street. The hostesses (I wouldn't call them staff because I NEVER felt as if I didn't belong) Waited at the entrance for our late arrival with warm water for tea, coffee and cookies. I only looked at pictures of the room online, but when you park and walk...

How I loved reading your review - the staff and I sincerely want our guests to feel welcomed and nurtured. For us it is less about running a business and more about caring for our guests in a heartfelt manner. I am so pleased you felt his, and that you are already planning your return. :)

One of the things we look forward to the most on our annual Christmas trip to New Mexico is our stay at The Madeleine (and sometimes, her sister property Hacienda Nicholas). This year, as every year, we were not disappointed. We had stayed in the Forsythia room in the garden cottage the previous two years, so this year we decided...

Dear Elizabeth W, Thank you so very much for taking the time to share your experiences of staying with us at The Madeleine Inn over the years. I love learning that the fireplace is the magical focal point for your daughter on Christmas Eve - we shall make sure you have milk & cookies for Santa next year! I am...

The Madeleine was the perfect accommodations for a girls weekend. The charming, historical B and B was immaculate and comfortable. Our rooms were large and perfectly appointed. The staff was beyond helpful and the location perfect for strolling through the City Different. Our breakfast of blue corn piñon waffles was Devine. This will be my first choice of places to...

We had a wonderful visit in Santa Fe, where we stayed at the charming Madeleine Inn. I hope we can return one day; but until then, we are pleased to share our experience, so others might choose to visit the inn, as well. The entire staff showered us with their very kind attention, taking care of even the smallest detail...

When vacationing, we want to stay in place as nice, or nicer than home. Otherwise, why go? Reviews are relative to each person's reality. This was our experience, with photos so decide if we're picky or if this is a place you'd like to stay. On a beautiful sunny Santa Fe day, we were escorted to a dark, stifling, musty...

I am so very sorry you were disappointed with your stay, and appreciate you taking the time to outline the reasons why in such detail. You are so right - It is most helpful when we are able to stay in the rooms and actually experience the setting overnight. We do this during the slower winter months, when the rooms...

This lovely old Queen Ann style house is like coming home -- only better! While The Madeleine is an easy walk to the Plaza, it is set back at the end of a quiet dead end street; and its brother inn, The Hacienda Nicholas, is across the street where delicious hot breakfasts, as well as homemade breads, muffins, granola and...

I am so pleased you enjoyed your romantic getaway with us, and that you slept comfortably, appreciated the food service and the property itself. As for the sink in the sleeping area - the house was built in 1886 with just one bathroom, which was considered the height of luxury at the time. Since then bathrooms have been added to...
