Only stayed here one night mid November in the Lone Ranger room #14. Even though this retro strip motel is right on a main thoroughfare, we didn't hear any road noise. The small concrete block-walled room was fine for our needs with microwave, mini fridge, and TV. Continental breakfast is in the lobby and was pretty good. No coffee maker...

Located a few miles southwest of Santa Fe’s downtown Plaza, this is an old-fashioned roadside motel with plenty of Old West charm and an extremely friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable and interestingly decorated. I scored the Rawhide Room (#20), which was adorned with artwork from the eponymous Clint Eastwood TV show and lyrics to its theme...

An amazing, family-owned place with a Southwest/Route 66 flavor. A bit of kitsch, but not too much. Spic and Span spotless and very affordable. Wonderful restaurants recommended by staff and within walking distance.

Still funky and very clean. Stayed five nights in mid October. Love this place and the staff was great again. Excellent "home base" for travels around Santa Fe/Taos. Comfy bed and great pillows. Close to everything and easy in-and-out. Lots of international guests this trip.

Quiet, comfy, and close to town. Sure the rooms are 1950's small but the bed is comfy, the decorating unique & the personable staff is great. The essentials are all present. If you prefer to experience a place instead of just passing thru this is the place to stay. Artists will be enchanted & find their creativity sparked.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Silver Saddle. We loved it. It really is a throwback to the old Route 66 days but with enough updates to be fun and comfortable. Rooms are decorated differently. It is on a main street and easy to find destinations from it. Staff was very friendly and kind. Rooms were comfortable and clean....

Funky little rustic hotel run by a sweet husband and wife. Room was cozy, which included quilts, and bathroom was tiled with beautiful local SF style tiles. It's next to The Jackelope, a treasure chest of local and imported art, furniture, textiles, etc. Also a block away from a restaurant where you can eat authentic, delicious SF food and drink...

If you're looking for a great budget motel in Santa Fe, the Silver Saddle is a great choice. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The rooms have western themes and the decor is 1960s. But it is a nice change from the stuffy chain hotels. The bathroom is small, but it wasn't an issue. This is a great place to...

We love this place! We bring our little ShihTzu and she is always welcome. Our favorite pet friendly room #3 was not available, but we got #27 and it was nice, too, but smaller. I love that they don't have carpet in the pet rooms, so much cleaner and no dog smell. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about...

Super reception staff. Full of recommendations for fantastic restaurants and sightseeing. Enjoyed the Adobe architecture and decor. We loved this place, wish we could have stayed longer than two nights. Local bus service into town cost $1 per day. Free shuttle bus in the town. Found everybody to be very friendly.
