The best things about this property are the hearty breakfast (including tamales and green chili stew); the convenient location just a short walk from the plaza and many sites; and the helpfulness of the owners in offering suggestions and guidelines. The major drawback was that our room (San Ildefonse) was in desperate need of an update: the carpet was worn...

Let me start by saying I would have given this Inn a perfect score had it not been for a bed issue in our room. The owners Amy and Herb are amazingly friendly and I informed Herb about the bed and he was frustrated because he said he recently replaced it. I'm sure he will be checking it out. Our...

Location convenient for walking to the Plaza. Free parking at the Inn was appreciated. Fluffy towels. A delicious breakfast which included the usual fruit, yogurt, bagels, etc. as well as traditional tamales and green chili stew. The room had an inviting kiva fireplace, but BEWARE it is an additional $15 to actually use it!! Rooms are authentic southwestern, and are...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The owners were very friendly. There is free parking and wifi. It is close to the historical areas. We stayed in the Tewa suite. It has one bedroom and a living room with a futon that makes into a double bed. You can also have a fire in the fireplace.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were very satisfied with the room and amenities. The breakfast each morning was great. We had a selection of fresh fruit, bagels and rolls, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, English muffins, green chile stew and red chile pork tamales - something for everyone. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. It's quaint -...

This was our first experience staying in an Adobe! Since this structure is over 150 years old I thought it would be cold and maybe smelly, however it was super cozy and warm (even without lighting the kiva!) no unpleasant odors at all, very clean and with all the modern amenities one would need! We enjoyed talking with Amy, Herb...

Cheryl, I'm glad that our insular, two-foot thick adobe walls kept you warm and cozy! I also loved meeting you, and I'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Herb and Stracia, too. Thanks for the kind words on the posole and the rest of the breakfast spread! There's nothing like starting off your day the authentic way....

The location was perfect. Easy walking to downtown and places to see. Off street parking. We had a fireplace in our room but the room was so insulated that we did not need to light it! It's an old inn but extremely clean and comfortable. The owners are so friendly and considerate and he breakfast is extensive and delicious. Would...

SRAR6058, if there's one thing our inn represents to a tee, it's the epitome of coziness. I'm glad you loved the insular warmth of the thick, original adobe walls and appreciated the traditional kiva fireplace -- even if you didn't need it! When you weren't busy enjoying the comfort of our 1860's inn, I'm glad you were out loving the...

I have stayed at the Pueblo Bonito on three different occasions. This is among the nicest places I have stayed in during my travels in America. The Pueblo Bonito is built in Adobe style, the rooms are rustic and very cozy and clean. It´s just five minutes walk away from the old centre of Santa Fe, and still it´s a...

dagknutsenoy, it truly makes my day to hear you feel our historic inn is among the nicest places you have stayed throughout your travels in America. On all three of your visits, I'm delighted you enjoyed the original adobe architecture and rustic feel with viga beams and original kiva fireplaces in every room. I hope you enjoyed your days strolling...

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Each room is unique, decorated in southwest style. Close to center of the city. Ann and Herb are great hosts. Breakfast is the best...tamales are homemade and not to be missed!

Thank you, joann1726, for taking the time to give us such a lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed your accomodations, but we don't just decorate our space in the classic New Mexican style, the kiva fireplace, viga beams, even the doors and adobe walls have all been maintained from the original 1860s architecture. That said, I'm glad you enjoyed both...

We stayed for 3 nights in the Comanche room. What a fun experience. I chose the Pueblo Bonito specifically based on the ambiance of the rooms. It is certainly not like any other hotel I have stayed in - I mean that in a good way. It was a typical old adobe building but that was the charm of the...

NMtraveler73, it's so wonderful to hear that our authentic, New Mexican charm is what drew you to staying with us in the Comanche room. From the original kiva fireplace and viga beams overhead, to our delicious breakfast tamales, I'm glad you and your sisters felt so engaged in the history of the space during your stay. Experience is what we...
