My wife and I traveled to Santa Fe the week between Christmas and New Years to enjoy the festive colors, smells, tastes and beauty of this town dressed up for the holidays. We opted to stay at the Santa Fe Motel and Inn which is within walking distance of the Plaza. The room was a comfortable, spacious room with a...

We arrived early afternoon and inquired if we might be able to get into our casita. We had reserved a 2 night stay. They checked on their computer and it showed that it was ready. We did not like the Casita area in the rear area it was very hard to enter and park our SUV. Then as we entered...

Front desk was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Its a short walk to the town square and nearby restaurants. The casita worked out great while we traveled with our very well behaved Labrador. Complimentary breakfast is served in the morning but they do ask you to sign up for a time slot the night before as seating can be tight. Definitely...

This was a "wow" property. It's a small, low-slung motel constructed and decorated in typical Santa Fe style, and beautifully landscaped. (There are also separate, self-contained "casitas" on the property.) Our (supremely comfortable) king room was stunning - everything just so, nothing tacky - and included a separate living area and kitchenette. The bathroom was clean, spacious and came with...

Our first stay in an adobe style place, we choose a cottage, small but comfy, coffee maker, fridge and microwave provided. Very quiet location, easy stroll to the plaza etc or to eateries (Tomasita's, 2nd st brewing co etc), quick car connections around town and to the highways and parks. Highlight for us was the breakfast Joshua and Sonya looked...

The first thing to comment on is the staff. From the GM down, everyone is cheerful, pleasant and helpful. Any questions or problems and they will do their best. A fantastic breakfast is put on by the very friendly Misty. The woodturning fire was very nice while eating breakfast. The location is a short walk to the Plaza and the...

We stayed 4 nights and could not have had a better experience. While by no means fancy, the rooms are good sized and well appointed with space for everything and lots of counter space for the bathroom. Although the motel is on a busy street, the rooms face an interior parking area and we were not bothered at all by...

From the front desk staff to the room's cleanliness to the cook at breakfast, this is a gem of a property. I hesitated to offer such a glowing review just so that I could keep it to myself - but, alas, the word is out.

Wow! This was a beautiful motel located in the perfect spot in Santa Fe. A very short walk to the Rail Yard district and about a 3 minute drive to the square (you could walk there if you were up for it). Also, for anyone that hears the word "motel" and thinks "second class", I can assure you that my...

Often went to SF in past, always stayed at the El Rey. Now needed a dog-friendly place, and wanted to walk to the Plaza. This suited both our needs. The breakfast had good and plentiful choices, loved the piñon fire in the morning. Rm #14 was on an end, 2nd floor, kitchenette, nicely decorated, good shower. Nice big patio/balcony outside our...
