What a lovely, fabulous hotel. Extremely clean. Staff were very accommodating. We had a wonderful room that was quiet and just perfect. We called the desk after 7pm to have the staff light a fire in our fireplace. He used white pine logs perfectly cut to fit the fireplace and left enough wood for us to keep it going for...

Hotel Chimayo has a friendly, helpful staff and a great location close to the square. We paid a very reasonable rate for a suite with a balcony and a sitting room with a fireplace, although the bathroom was really small. The underground parking was a nice feature. We tried to have a drink in the bar upon arrival, but the...

The entire hotel and rooms are decorated with crosses (it IS the Hotel Chimayo after all), so vampires beware. Also, tea drinkers beware- there is no way to make hot water in your room as of 3/2017. Only a vile keurig coffee maker that would not spit out just hot water no matter how I tried to jerry-rig the thing....

We booked rooms on a special of $99 a night because our friends said this was a great hotel. With our budge booking we got free parking which is a must in Santa Fe. The hotel is very close to the square, which was nice and convenient for shopping. BUT the rooms (apparently on the special rate) were less than...

Hotel Chimayo was just fine. We stayed in a king room which is on the 2nd floor (though you take the elevator to the 3rd floor - odd). The king rooms have a staircase to the ground floor in them which we didn't go down. It is innocuous, but a little odd. The room was clean & the bed was...

Great Room, Great location, Great customer service. Only reason for not 5 Stars was the hotel bar & restaurant, which still had great customer service but the food & drink was pricey so I recommend staying at the hotel but going elsewhere for food & drink.

Stayed for 2 nights had a code for free parking, normally $18 a night in their under ground lot. On check out was charged one night parking. Quickly fixed. Had a king suite w/ fireplace. Must get an employee to come and start the fire, not gonna do it. Two chairs in front of fireplace seemed less cozy than having...

After five days of traveling in our faithful RV, we decided to take a break and check into a hotel for a couple of nights. My husband had an email about Hotel Chimayo, and he made reservations. It was with great anticipation that we arrived in Santa Fe. We had called the hotel to let them know we were traveling...

This is a nice hotel in a nice location. Close to the Plaza and great restaurants, museums and galleries. We had a wonderful sitting area with a fireplace (non-working but still nice) and TV. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

What a location! Every morning we stroll around the plaza and eat at one of the restaurants nearby (our favorite is the French Pastry Shop). We couldn't be more pleased. Yeah, there are fancier places downtown. But you'll pay a premium for the 'Santa Fe' aura. The Hotel Chimayo is just great for a downtown stay. My wife and I...
