We went for my birthday weekend as first timers to Santa Fe. I chose this hotel because it was efficient and had the best customer service. We liked the feel of Santa Fe in this hotel. I would stay again here!

Hotel's Favourite
Everything was great - the room was spotless, the linens/towels were very nice, it was quiet, a decent size, with a small patio. We booked last minute and could only get the smallest room - it was a sufficient size but next time we'd probably opt for the next larger size. Free parking on site. Free wifi (not so at the Albuquerque Airport Sheraton we stayed at the first night!). The breakfast buffet was delicious - different hot items were offered each day. We intended to have happy hour in the lounge at some point but ran out of time. There's a charming outdoor terrace to eat on but because it was pretty chilly when we were there in October we didn't get to use it. The front-desk staff was helpful with questions we had about the area. The location was perfect - a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Plaza, and right next to Canyon Rd. Because of covid there was not routine housekeeping daily (after 4 nights you could have the whole room done). But for new towels or to have trash removed, etc. you just had to ask at the front desk and they set it up. Worked perfectly. We loved Santa Fe and the surrounding area as well as the Inn on the Alameda. We'd definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Inn on the Alameda. We enjoyed walking to the square for shopping and restaurants. Close enough but off path a little so quiet and near walking trail too. Enjoyed our king deluxe room with fireplace and patio. Hotel was quiet and great for our anniversary get away. Enjoyed drinks in the bar and the hotel breakfast one morning. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Inn on the Alameda several times, most recently in December 2021. The location is wonderful - within walking distance of the plaza - and the free on-site parking is a nice perk in the area! Our room was comfortable, and we felt the hotel was taking proper Covid precautions (we observed all staff being masked, and we appreciated that the hotel currently provides 24 hours between guests occupying the same room). The included breakfast was nice, and we appreciated that to-go containers were provided since we opted to eat on our patio. We have already booked our next stay there.

I took a long awaited (decades) first trip to Santa Fe Sept 2021 with long time friends. We had four rooms for a three night stay. I had a nice chat with Joe, the owner, during an evening dinner at the Inn. He was hosting his family that evening. I mentioned the things I loved about the room..including bathrobes. All was well until the evening we checked out and I discovered I had accidentally left my dental appliance with case on the bed... I phoned the hotel right away...and for the next four days. I was told the room had not been cleaned yet and was hoping someone would go retrieve my lost item. There were many excuses given for why no one could go look for it the first day, nor in lost and found on the following days. It was finally located two months later when my male family member phoned the hotel, and what do you know... it was there the entire time. It was mailed to me after an additional two weeks and another phone call from me. Eleven weeks in total, and four expensive trips to the dentist to replace the appliances ( I had recently finished braces) . I've never left these behind before, but this is the hospitality business and to have had them for 11 weeks.....ugh. I noticed that now there is a Lost and Found section on the home page which will help others. I'm hoping they do the right thing by me. I loved the hotel, but this soured my experience.
