We came to Friday Harbor for some Whale Watching. This hotel was close to, the ferry, which was great. The only downside is....there is NO air conditioner in the rooms. And it was an 80+ degree day. You can open the windows, and we did, but some of our family members were on a ground level floor room, and that...

I don't believe the hotel is air conditioned, but we left our windows open during the night, and we were comfortable. We'd planned on enjoying wine, and there was a corkscrew, but no wine glasses, so juice glasses were the best we could do. We couldn't borrow from the restaurant (which wasn't seating even by the time we arrived at...

My husband & I stayed here 5 nights. The rooms are very nice & huge! Kitchens stocked with things you would need to eat with. Amenities are nice. Outside hot tub. Our room happened to be right by it, so all we had to do was walk out the sliding door, & a few steps to it. Was a wonderful...

My second visit to the island and I stayed here based on a friend's recommendation. It was extremely disappointing. There are so many more charming places in Friday Harbor. There is not a lot of charm in this place. It feels dated, especially the rooms in the hallway. The grounds are fine as is the lobby area. The hallways are...

I bring cycling groups here and use as a base to explore the islands. Great rooms, comfortable beds, a hot tub and restaurant on premises. Breakfast buffet gives groups a chance to mingle in the morning. For this area, this hotel gives solid value and is competitively priced (in the shoulder season when we use it). Management gave us a...

Awesome facility! Roomy and quite handy to all of the activities on the island including the whale watching tour and the Anacortes ferry. Also has a nice restaurant on site. The large suites are great for families.

Stayed 5 nights on business but plan to come back soon with my family! Also plan to stay here annually on business! Queen room had full fridge with sink and dishes. Living room with fireplace! Balcony too! Bedroom was separate! Dated but so cozy and clean! Stayed in 218 just wish there was a kitchen table like some other rooms!...

My daughter and I went and we took my dog. Very nice room. Very spacious and it even had a little gas fireplace in the corner. It had a hot tub that was fenced in outside which was nice. It was covered and very clean. We went to a wedding ceremony upstairs in the conference room. Free breakfast in the...

The rooms are stuck in the 80's with an uncomfortable couch and bed. The hallways are an optical illusion, who thought of building it that way. The best thing is that is located conveniently in town, but you don't get a view. For a few bucks more you can stay waterfront. Won't be back.

New couches and love seats have arrived and are currently being delivered to the rooms. We have decided to start a new room type with regular couches and roll away beds. So no more uncomfortable hydabeds! People usually enjoy their sleep here because our beds are Sealy's which a very quality mattress. Very sorry to hear that your bed was...

Ample Parking. Well kept grounds. Unfriendly front desk staff, esp weekend morning. Nice housekeeping staff. Evening front desk staff were nice. Dated decor. No hooks to hang jackets. Appropriately priced. Very mediocre. Not sure how this rates 4 stars?

We take pride in our Hotel Customer Service. Very sorry to hear you had a negative experience with our morning weekend staff. Hooks are a great idea for hanging jackets although the suites do have nice large closets with up to eight hangers. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Hope to see you again.
