We were with 5 friends, 5 tents and 2 cars. Great camping spot. Beautiful resort. There was a wedding happening that weekend so the lodge was closed for us so I did not see it. Staff was friendly, clean facilities. large site. Great fire pit and picnic tables on every site. I would go back and camp again or try...

I can't say enough about my stay at the Lodge. It was incredibly beautiful, as well as comfortable. I really found myself totally relaxed, and was impressed by the staff. The breakfast could not have been nicer!

After making two, separate trips (one in January of 2017 and one more recent, April of 2017)- we can very easily and enthusiastically say- This one of our favorite places. The rooms (both times we have stayed in the Lodge) are incredible, and very nicely furnished. The Lodge feels like you're staying with some friends at a private home, tucked...

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful resort. I was one of 8 women who were staying here for a retreat. We all stayed in lodge rooms. The rooms were cozy, roomy and very clean. Loved being able to sit outside on the deck from the room. The lodge itself is beautiful, the large deck overlooking...

I was at Lakedale for a knitting retreat. I opted to stay in one of the cabins with a friend who was also attending as I like my privacy and a place to get away when I am at such events. The cabin was quite comfortable for two. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and the kitchen, dining...

My wife and I spent almost week at Lakedale as part of a knitting retreat. She knits. I read. It worked out well, but I digress. Each morning started out with breakfast, which was excellent. Our room in the lower level of the lodge was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The main room of the lodge (where the retreat classes were...

I got exactly what I came for. Relaxation. Legos. Time with my 6 year old. Cabin was perfect. Boat and lake were easy and fun. And best of all the staff treated us like family. The effort and time and appreciation that we were shown made Lakedale a top 5 weekend for me and my boy. Karl and Mary Ann....

I can't rave about Lakedale Resort enough! My husband and I booked a lodge room for the weekend for my birthday. From our initial booking with Richard, to our check in with Josh, and the excellent omelettes made by Mary Ann (she's also a great tour guide and just all around friendly lady!), our weekend was spectacular! The staff was...

We went the weekend before valentines day to get away from the city for a bit. This resort is perfectly situated with beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. Check in was a breeze and everyone was helpful and friendly. Free breakfast every morning was great. Omelettes were amazing. Best part of the trip was Mary Ann who gave us many ideas...

Stayed in a bike and camp spot for some $40 plus last summer with friends. Other camp spots cost up to $60 The lodge and cabins are prohibitively expensive from what I saw. Also, it's quite a stretch to call this group of brackish ponds, lakes. Not an inviting swim at all. So why is this place so expensive? Well...
