We went the weekend before valentines day to get away from the city for a bit. This resort is perfectly situated with beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. Check in was a breeze and everyone was helpful and friendly. Free breakfast every morning was great. Omelettes were amazing. Best part of the trip was Mary Ann who gave us many ideas...

Stayed in a bike and camp spot for some $40 plus last summer with friends. Other camp spots cost up to $60 The lodge and cabins are prohibitively expensive from what I saw. Also, it's quite a stretch to call this group of brackish ponds, lakes. Not an inviting swim at all. So why is this place so expensive? Well...

Five of us stayed at a Lakedale cabin over the Christmas holiday and had a great time. We were visiting relatives but stayed at the cabin which met our expectations perfectly. We used both bedrooms and the roll-away in the living room and never felt cramped. The cabins themselves are beautifully simple in design and overlook a small lake making...

I have never been to the San Juan Island in the winter and it is gorgeous! Mary Ann makes the best omelets for breakfast. Our room had a fire place and a super comfy bed. The lake was frozen and just looked beautiful with all the snow falling. I am for sure going back in the winter. It was quiet...

We opted for the canvas cabin "glamping" at Lake Dale resort last June (2015) and had an excellent experience. The accommodations were a great mix of camping but still having small luxuries. We had a spot right on the lake that we could even cast off the shore. Continental breakfast and toasty toes turndown service were great touches! We took...

My "little" brother lives in Friday Harbor and we love to travel there for Thanksgiving. This year we were anticipating more family than usual so we opted for a cabin at Lakedale Resort. What a WONDERFUL place to stay! Starting with Lea and ending with Carl the entire staff were totally gracious and accommodating. We felt like we were the...

My husband and I stayed at Lakedale for one night in Sept 2016. We were in a canvas tent ("glamping") and we LOVED IT. The tent was beautiful and spacious: there was a queen-size bed, fouton/couch, and a little dining area. We had our own fire pit that we used that night. All the staff we encountered were fabulous, helpful...

We stayed a total of 3 nights in one of the canvas cottages (Neva #2) - it was a real treat with a gorgeous view. The nights were cold but they provide plenty of blankets and the cottage comes with a gas heater and they provide water heating bags to place in your bedding to keep you warm at night....

My wife and I stayed here for one night. It's beautiful. The grounds were great and so was the staff. There is no bathroom in the tent so just be mindful of that. Would definitely stay here again for longer next time.
