This was my second time at the property and we will be back. My wife love the property and we are planning on bringing our adult children and there families later this year. The food was great, try the buffet on Sunday.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

My wife and I stayed at the Menger Hotel earlier this week for a few days. It was wonderful! Great historic hotel, beautiful decor, and wonderful people. We ate in the Colonial Restaurant, in the hotel on two days for breakfast and one day for dinner. All was wonderful. Our dinner was the best, as we had a wonderful woman...

The oldest hotel in San Antonio, the Menger features a breathtaking lobby, a magnificent turn-of-the century bar, a stunning courtyard garden, and wonderfully comfortable rooms. We rarely sleep well in hotels but the Menger just clicked with us. Right next door to the Alamo, the Menger is a short walk from the Riverwalk. We look forward to staying here again!

I loved the historic feel of this hotel. Yes, I could tell certain things, like the bathroom or windows, were old. But all the necessary comforts were updated to provide a very comfortable experience. The staff were kind and classy. The pool area and historic bar were fantastic for unwinding after long days at my convention.

Great location, love the history of this hotel. It comes up short in a few areas, but I like it anyway and will stay here again, please let me explain...... Check-in was smooth and fast, no problems there..... We checked into our room No. 4100. It had two closets, one shared a wall with the bathroom which definitely needed to...

Overall, the Menger was a good place to stay. Clean rooms and fairly courteous staff made for a pleasant stay. The location is hard to beat. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the walls are paper-thin and room-to-room noise is a significant setback. Early morning conversations from your neighbors are easily heard. Street noise is also an issue...

A lovely hotel with lots of charm and character. Brilliant location. Our room was small but very tastefully decorated, reasonably well appointed and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Stayed there for a conference at the convention center. Great location to walk to convention and river walk area. There were no towel bars or hooks to hang anything. Shower curtain was too short to get into tub so water went everywhere. They did change that out, but said our room must just not have had the towel bars added...

Location is great. Walk to Riverwalk and of course Alamo. Some nice shops attached. Our room was quaint but nothing really special. Older plumbing issues because shower would fluctuate from hot to cold. Don't forget to factor in the cost of parking. There are a few historical references and the bar is good but lacked any real identity once you're...

We stayed at the Menger, and we loved it! The restaurant was great and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed the Menger Bar and learning about the history of the hotel. We travel to San Antonio often, and we will definitely stay here again.
