Stayed at this hotel several times I come to San Antonio at least once year for an event. Have also stayed across joining driveway at Drury Plaza but I like the interior better here. Great breakfast & 5:00 Happy Hour🍷 snacks & drinks. Always courteous at front desk & service employees. Convenient to airport which is also on north side of town less than 10 miles about a 15 minute drive.
Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Staff was extremely friend. They serve free breakfast and dinner. Can't really beat that. Everyone super friendly. The pool is indoors which is nice because it's still too cold to swim outdoors. Family had a blast.
Loved this place I will totally recommend this place my family and I were super happy we got to rest well staff was really nice great breakfast and afternoon food was great !! I will totally stay here again
The hotel looked fantastic on the outside pulling up. All expectations were quickly destroyed. There were beer cans and trash all around the property, the food was horrible. The beverages for the "Adult Kick-Back" were not well made and options were disgusting. I think the water bottles that I purchased for my family while they were in the pool were reasonably priced. However, the pool was quickly filled with more families than could safely be in there, including a group that consisted of 2 adults and 8 children, another group of 3 adults and 5 children, on top of the rest of the families that were already there. There is absolutely no enforcement of social distancing, masks, or personal hygiene. There were multiple times that there were 8-10 children and teenagers crammed into the "Business Center" shoulder to shoulder and sitting on the floor taking turns to go to different social media websites. None of them were wearing masks, including the ones who were obviously in their late teen age years. Many of the afore mentioned oversized groups went directly from the pool to the food line pushing their way in where guests had been following social distancing. Then if the day couldn't have choreographed it any better until sometime around 3am there were those same teenagers and children as young as 4/5 running the halls screaming and literally running/racing up and down the hall ways. The security guard is an elder woman who either for lack of training or desire to do her job instead of confronting this chaos, instead made jokes and conversation with the adults and children. My recommendation is to avoid this hotel where people are literally changing in their vehicles and walking into the pool and hot tub. Where friends of the staff come for free alcoholic beverages and meals. …
We stayed three nights and the staff was always happy to help. We had Mauricio serving food and drinks. No matter how many people were lined up, he was in a good mood. A second person might be good for very busy nights such as Saturday night
