Let me start out by saying this hotel is beautiful. Great Mediterranean look, beautiful lobby, and beautiful property. The rooms: nice, but nothing too spectacular.
I really wanted this hotel to be wonderful as it is in a great location. Unfortunately, too many issues.
Room was spacious and beautiful.
Amenities included pastries in am, wine and cheese taste of Texas, appetizers, free shuttle within 2 miles, with additional amenities we did not have time to take advantage of.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun, I've only been checked in for an hour, but you know what they say about first impressions. I walked in at 11; 30 pm and the majestic lobby seemed quiet cols as I waited for someone to check me in....More
Stayed at Eilan many times. It is perfect for a stay cation in San Antonio. Rooms are beautiful, pool area clean, and restaurant is top notch. It’s in walking distance of many different restaurants. Highly suggest staying here. Great property with good service. Helpful staff.
I stayed there 2 nights on 2 different occasions and the

Yes, we did the time share tour. It was 2 hours and my husband survived. He HATES time share tours and I didn't tell him until we got there. There was a 45 min group presentation before which was light and painless with coffee. Then we got our individual person to show us the suite in the hotel and talk to us about Blue Green properties. There was no pressure - we already own 6 time shares - not Blue Green - so we know pressure. Total time is supposed to be 2 hours and most people were out of there. I asked a lot of questions so we were at 2.5 hrs because I thought we might transfer some properties over. It was not a big deal and the 3 night stay at the property was worth it. (Still waiting on the other "gifts" to see how they work out).
