The hotel staff was very nice. I even left my wallet and they called me and made arrangements to mail it to me. Breakfast was always on time, simple, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, and bagels. The pool was clean. Rooms were average but clean. Can actually see SeaWorld from a distance from your room. Less than 10minutes drive to SeaWorld.

Hotel was great for most part! I understand they were doing remodeling but would have been nice to have end tables and somewhere to hang out clothes. Staff was very polite and helpful when ask things of them. Enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay her again.

Facility was good, but breakfast that was provided was not at all up to the mark, I have to go out and get breakfast for my family. all the other part were good. if I go San Antonio next time I will stay there but if my breakfast is messed up again I will never visit this facility again.

The good - Location is close to Seaworld - Hotel is updated and clean
The Bad - no queen beds. They have Doubles and Kings - Breakfast was a tragic joke... it was like they forgot that they list breakfast as a hotel ammenity... no coffee, no milk, no bread, no eggs... they had cranberry syrup in the juice machine, waffle batter and syrup stayed empty for well over an hour despite several people pointing it out to kitchen staff; potatoes were so raw that they were crunchy.
The ugly - more than 7 vehicles were broken into overnight.

Upon entering the room there was an unpleasant smell of dirty bleach water. The room did not have hot water. It was very loud. Breakfast hours were reported incorrectly, and breakfast was not available during our stay. The staff was rude to the other guests, and it was not a comfortable experience.
Positives were the proximity of where we were visiting.

I travel extensively, and this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was absolutely filthy. The commode was filthy. The shower was filthy. They did not clean the room. The floor was dirty and the manager at the front desk acting like he was a new employee when he was the general manager did nothing. there was no drinks you could purchase because the machine was broke, and they never fixed it and they never offered any services. The light in the room is flickering the air conditioner made noise, and you can’t get your hand between the countertop and the commode to flush the commode. The towels are old , facial scrub. When taking a shower, the water does not go down the drain so you have about 5 to 6 inches of water around your feet because they need to work on their plumbing

Booked with booking.com which advertised a shuttle to the airport. I message and asked if the shuttle could take us to SeaWorld. The hotel messaged back and said yes and there would be no additional charge for that request. Upon check-in, learned that they have never had a shuttle service. I asked if our stay could be discounted since I was now having to pay for an Uber twice a day, for 2 days. The front desk clerk said most likely, but would have to be approved by management. No problem. The next day the manager Susan said it had to go through the GM. The next day Susan didn't have an answer but said the GM would be there that day. After returning, she said she never had a chance to talk to him. The next morning at check out, I asked again. She said the GM said no, they would not be discounting our stay because it was not their mistake, even though I have the email as proof. I reached out to customer service and filed a complaint. They told me the complaint would be routed to the GM of that facility. I told them that he had already told them no. The customer service rep told me that's how they handle their complaints. It doesn't go higher, it just goes back to that GM. There were other issues such as the room had an odor to it. There was not an ice machine. If you want water, you have to go to the front desk and ask for a bottle of water. The vending machines were out of order. And was told that they do not do sausage every morning for breakfast even though it's advertised.

We regret staying at this hotel. The place is dirty. The elevator button panel and carpet is dirty. The hallway carpet is dirty. The towels are old and they either had hair from their previous user on them or were discolored from being old or both. We were given a slightly pink wash cloth. Like it was washed with a red piece of clothing that bled out in the wash. Instead of throwing it away they used it. The bathroom floor had loose tiles because water is getting underneath due to poor installation when it was remodeled. The light switch in the bathroom has not been wiped down in a long time. The shower was gross. There was hair on the shower walls when we got there. The housekeeping staff while nice, do not do a good job of cleaning. Best Western should look into who over is running this place because it really is gross. I will stick to other hotel companies instead of giving BW more of my money.

This hotel is nice to stay in and it is very affordable. I just would like the breakfast would start at 6 instead of 6:30 a.m. I would like for them to have hot breakfast to. The rooms were clean and they were good size rooms.

I got there Friday night and the lady up front was very nice she helped with what she could. We checked into our first room and the tv would not work so we called the front desk and she told us that there was nothing she could do for us until tomorrow morning. We asked if we could switch rooms and she switches us room like 5-6 different times. I’ll just say that all the rooms we got switched (to before the one we ended up staying in) the tv did not work! In one room the tv did not even have a remote. One of the rooms the AC did not even work. In each room we found some type of article that did not belong to us and they were all turned into the front desk as well. We found a men’s hat in one room, socks in other rooms, plastics bags in another one, and lastly in the one we stayed in my daughter found a pair of extra large women’s underwear in her bed (also turned in to front desk). The Pool was disgusting, it had trash and insects in it and also was really foggy as well as not having anywhere to sit or put our towels on. The jacuzzi was cold and did not turn on. While switching rooms in the guest laundry near the elvators there was a yellow mattress just sitting there as well as people laundry hanging in there! I have never had such a bad stay.
