We just went there this past week and its the first time we've had a bad experience with a Staybridge. Staybridge in San Antonio stone oak doesn't compare to the ones we were in Dallas and Austin. The management terrible the personnel limited. The ones that work there to clean nice but their management needs to step up and pay for toilet paper toiletries and the coke and orange machine. I honestly felt like I was in econo lodge or one of those budget hotels. The first room we were given, the toilet wasn't working the drawer was missing in small kitchen. The second room the fridge was punctured the desk chair had holes in it , Like if it was picked up from the dumpster. THE BREAKFAST oh wow it was so limited eggs with cheese lol they call it an omelette n some potato. The breakfast was a joke, you ask for fruit juice they tell you ..coke machine and juice machine don't work. Oh and that dumb agreement letter regarding Covid. A stupid excuse to not clean your room. They say its because of Covid heck no its because they have no personnel. Once again Management this is For You ...You lose your personnel because you are too cheap who wants to work for someone like that. I will call Staybridge Corporate because this was uncalled for. Paying more than 100 bucks to stay there just to get an econolodge kind of hotel. I mean even the budget hotels aren't so stingy to put toilet paper in the rooms or to even clean the rooms. Plus It doesn't take much to replace some items in the room just go to Ross.…
Tonight room 410 has the following issues, the microwave is missing its turntable, and will not heat a cup of water, nor pop the popcorn, and the coffee they left me is two bags of decaf. Disappointing
DISGUSTING. I recently booked this hotel because we are in between houses and this location is convenient. I called ahead to ask about the different rooms before I booked. Upon arrival was told I had to have a room with one queen bed for my 2 teen kids and myself. The hotel was basically empty amidst the COVID 19 outbreak. Based on occupancy they compromised a bigger room that was handicap accessible. Easily could have given us a 2 bedroom or anything else. This was not a problem until the room was disgusting and no coffee maker. The tub was cracked and you had to be careful not to pinch your feet. The light fixture in the restroom was so gross you could see that something had flooded from above. The drain in the tub was moldy. The soap dispensers in the shower were empty. There were 2 total towels and 2 washcloths. There was spots all over and wiping marks like a sorry attempt to clean. I addressed my concerns and was advised a coffee maker would be brought. Needless to say that they were no longer serving breakfast or evening social any longer. Coffee maker is now a necessity. The next day I went to the lobby to express my dissatisfaction. The woman was very helpful and gave us 4 other room keys to see if they were clean. Dirty, half a couch missing, remotes with rubber bands holding them together. They were all unacceptable to the IHG standard I'm used to and expect. The manager became involved and quickly tried to get us to move to a different location. He also insulted me to offer us a $5.00 discount because he is partly at fault. I was given 3 other keys to check rooms at which point I found one suitable that I could clean myself. I don't know how this hotel operates or why I received discrimination. I'm glad my family only had to be here a week. I have really changed my opinion about IHG hotels this location should be evaluated. The manager promised me 25,000 points for the I convenience, doesn't surprise me that was a lie too. 3 star rating with 1 star quality.…
For the price, this hotel was very good with a decent breakfast and complimentary light dinners with beer and wine on the days I stayed. The things that it lost a star for was that throughout the hotel, lighting was poor, to include the room. It looks like it is ready for an update with dated drapes and paint colors. Another thing that was disappointing was the choice of TV news station during the breakfast hours; FOX News - really? Room service is not like most hotels, which is a good thing, because it reduces the hotel's operating costs. Multi day stays don't get daily full room service but do get the basics. Please read about this on the website to be sure this is OK with you before booking. Otherwise, I enjoyed my 3 day stay and the hotel met all my needs with a decent price.…
Everything was adequate. Nothing exceptional but this is what you hope for with hotel stays. Parking wraps around the building and is gated. Nice reception dinner during early days in the week. Friendly counter staff.
