Mgr Austin was so helpful with our needs he really tried to make our stay comfortable. The staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, and pool was very nice and warm. We were there for AFB graduation and was a great location to base for us. A plus… Main Event was next door, parking lots joined, where we stayed all afternoon.

I gave them a 5 rating because of the large king room, shower and bath area, big working tv, had a nice grab-n-go breakfast with Covid going on and friendly staff. They did not have keys to the rooms because of the storms earlier but staff took care of getting you on your room.

I booked a King with a sofa, microwave, fridge on the 4th floor for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located close to Lackland and has many restaurants near by. It was quiet, and the room was large, clean, and had a comfortable bed . Coffee or tea was offered in the room or from the lobby. There is an indoor heated pool, workout room, and an area to buy necessities. Each morning a hot breakfast was offered. I have a brand new car. The parking is open. I parked near the main entrance with no issues. I will return, if needed.

Hotel carpets were stained and in need of vacuuming throughout the hotel. Original room had a terrible odor, TV sound went out & we found what appeared to be vomit on & under the bed skirt. No hot breakfast. The only positive is that we were given a new room upon request and the location was convenient.

The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, what we have come to expect from Hampton Inns. The room cleanliness was substandard. Shower floor had grey buildup, the towel racks had dust and water spot build up and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. As another person mentioned there was only one trash can and it was in the bathroom. After walking from the bathroom to bed and back a few times in my white socks they were no longer white. Obviously no one is checking that rooms are cleaned completely on a regular basis. These are not once or twice misses. Attention to detail is definitely lacking. Even the bathroom mirror was mounted obviously uneven, fixed in place that way. Not at all in line with our usual Hampton Inn experience.

Upon arriving, we noticed the AC was not working in our room (temperature was rising). The host suggested they bring up a fan, which was unacceptable. I was then moved to another room. The last night of our stay I noticed blood specs on my linen and found a bedbug on the clothing I was wearing, since it was the middle of the night, we made due after spraying and cleaning the bed. On checkout I showed the host the bedbug (in a paper cup). Host mentioned she told the manager and that they would not assign the rooms to anyone else until properly fumigated. No other action was taken to assist with the loss of sleep and the large effort we now need to undertake to ensure we do not transfer anything to our home. This is unacceptable and our family will not be staying at ANY Hilton affiliated hotels.

We only stayed 5 mins after a Cockroach was there to greeted us after we entered the room. Well trained because I was able to make it to the bathroom grab a tissue and return to kill it. we then headed back to the lobby to check out and hand the receptionist the dead cockroach. I called the Dimond desk to get assistance with another hotel. Outstanding job on the Dimond desk because it was late.

The hot breakfast was good but need more waffle makers and also put food out until 10:00. Running out is wrong. Need to do housekeeping again. Covid is no excuse to stop cleaning should be the opposite.

The front desk was not able to supply me with adequate bedding or pillows for the sofabed the night of my arrival. The person at the front desk that I asked for the bedding didn't seemed too concerned about not being able to provide me with the needed bedding.
When I asked for them again the next morning, I was told they would bring them to my room. After about an hour, we left to go to Seaworld and the items still had not been delivered. I figured they would bring them while we were gone. When we arrived back in the hotel after 10 pm that night, we still did not have the items requested. I had to go ask for them again, this time I was finally able to get them.
I do not feel it was acceptable to not be able to get them upon my arrival and it was unacceptable I had to ask for them so many times to get the items needed.

This is a very average hotel. Nothing terrible, Nothing special.
The location is prime for Sea World. The online check-in is great. They gave me an extra hour for a noon checkout. The breakfast was hot and well stocked. The parking lot had ample security cameras. Fridge and microwave in the room were nice. Ample pillows were provided.
The bedside outlets were worn out. The shower didn’t drain fast enough. The windows are half the normal size. The digital key doesn’t work on the pool and they said it has been broken for a long time. The pool did not open in the morning because the employee was late to work (huge disappointment to a 9 year old). The bathrooms don’t connect to the pool room so water up and down the hallway.

I dont think they offer any shuttles...but we used Uber while we we there. It was really easy. We didn't 4 or 5 times and only had 1 driver that we didnt like. The others were amazing! And there is a yellow cab company that gets there super quick. You might want to call and ask the hotel directly... but I don't think they do. We didnt go to Sea World while we were there, but I don't think it's far at all. Hope that helps!
I agree with the others - no shuttle. Renting a car is your best option. We rented through Alamo and paid about 50 dollars for pick up on Thursday and return on Saturday. for a mid size car it was worth it.
There is a "Main Event" in the adjacent parking lot...we didn't go there because we had our time so fully packed, but they have a website you can check. Activities like bowling, laser tag, etc. That was the only thing we saw within comfortable walking distance.
