room was a little small but comfy and cosy , shutters were fun to watch the full moon from, but less fun in the morn light, also our neighbours were very close and noise sensitive on level 3 , the basement bar was a great place to get close and intimate , not cheap though , ocho pretty and offered...

This is one of those places you HAVE to see to believe. All the comforts you crave like a comfortable bed, privacy, wi-fi but then add some historic charm and you have the best hotel in San Antonio. Alton Brown stays there when he visits because it is that great, but he probably really likes the OCHO restaurant attached to...

When I walked in my first thought was this is what I'm looking for in a hotel. The lobby is serene and relaxing. It really feels like you are transported to another time. The lighting is low but it fits with the ambiance. When I saw my room I was thrilled at the thought of spending the next 3 days...

Booked a room for 3 nights to attend an event at the Tobin Center which is ideal since it right next door. The Problems: There is no big sign to let you know where to park or where to register. The parking lot is very narrow and cars reversing can hit other cars. I actually saw a car hit another...

For leisure travel, I enjoy a hotel with history and character, something different from the business chain hotel of my work life. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. It is technically located on the riverwalk but is actually a short walk (15 minutes?) from the central riverwalk restaurant area. The rooms were of adequate size and all come with a...

We stayed at the Hotel Havana in Oct. 2016 adjacent to the Riverwalk. At this location you are 5-6 blocks from the main activities associated with the Rivework. The hotel has some age but with age comes character. Our room was small but adequate, wood floors (noisey),no microwave but a well stocked refrig. Everyone was helpful and kind. Did not...

My husband and I spent 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff was awesome and the coffee in lobby was so good. The hotel is a short walk from the Alamo and the heart of the riverwalk. Also, you can get to river just across street. We loved having a drink at Ochos, the hotel restaurant, it overlooks the...

Nice older Boutique hotel right at the end of the River Walk. Very convenient to move around the city. The room was well appointed and had all the latest conveniences. The Ocho, is a very nice small restaurant with a great menu. The waitstaff was outstanding. The bar down stairs is very dark actually too dark to see most anything....

A weekend stay in a lovely hotel. A nice change of pace and ambiance from chain hotels. We stayed in room # 10 & 11 on the first floor, not 100% sure now. Not a great view, but the room was so charming and well appointed. Probably too dim lights, especially in the closet area. We had a light lunch...

This review is only for the basement bar, not the hotel. Havana Hotel is really cute and old. Ocho at the Havana Hotel was closed for a private event, but the other bar in the basement was open. It's incredibly dark down there — sorta ridiculous, actually. There's no way to read the menu without the light of your phone....
