Not nice staff, dingy rooms, over priced. No customer service at all. Closest to my home so family came to stay here. Never again! It reminded me of one of those hotels people stay in off the highway to do drugs...

Warm, clean, comfortable bed, tidy bathroom. They kindly called us to learn when we'd arrive -- we were going to be late. All was well tho our hostess looked a little sleep deprived. Room was quiet. Really liked the Kuerig coffee maker. Yes, nice place.

This place was surprisingly fantastic. I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled in but the room was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. While the main office is cluttered and musty, it was not in any way representative of the quality of the rooms. I highly recommend this inn!

We stayed at the Clipper for two nights. Since I was traveling with adults, we upgraded to a suite. Having the extra room was great. The accommodations are simple, but adequate. The one thing that makes this motor lodge style inn really stand out is the cleanliness. Our room was spotless and the cleaning staff were terrific. It was obvious...

Don't go in expecting something fancy. It was a bit rundown but for the price you cannot complain to much. they don't have a breakfast in stead the front office gave us gift cards to dunkin doughnuts.

Clipper Ship is an older motel but it has all the modern amenties needed. Great people at front desk, we booked a room for the week of Halloween and when we got there they had upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge. Rooms were very clean. Very impressed. I definitely recommend Clipper Ship and will stay there again...

We agree with a fellow rater that there was a bit of questionable business going on, this time in the parking lot. In addition, the woman who greeted us at check-in was nosey, snobby, and demeaning. We didn't feel welcomed at all, but we were too exhausted from a 6-hour flight to complain and needed to sleep. Never again.

Upon arrival we pull in and to the left was a questionable housing apt. with questionable people hanging around it...so that made us a bit nervous but everything was fine in the end... check in and out was odd (they asked how many people were staying in the room? never gotten that somewhere before) but it quick and easy. The...

My friend and I changed our plans to visit Salem during the very busy month of October and moved our trip up by a week. I was shocked to find this Inn had one room available and was "in town." We checked in and were greeted by a very pleasant and attentive lady. Upon check in, she gave each of...
