Hi Amanda, Thanks so much for staying with us. We enjoyed having you and Scott spend the weekend in the Boston Room. Thank you for letting us know that the bed in Boston is a little "squeaky." We just fixed it, so it will no longer make a sound. We're sorry the mattress was a bit too firm for you,...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week. The innkeepers Matt and Kelly are the best! The location was perfect! It's right in the middle of town next to all of the attractions and walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Salem! We loved everything about it!

We visited Salem, MA in September 2015 and stayed at the Stepping Stone Inn. Minutes away from historic downtown Salem, with all of its shops, museums and restaurants, this inn could not be better located. The rooms were clean, beautiful and tastefully decorated, with on suite washrooms and showers. Offering breakfast and coffee in the morning and free wi-fi in...

We decided to stay the night at the last minute and this Inn caught our eye! Matt and Kelly were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. If you are a cat lover, there are two cats that live in the house and come out to the shared area sometimes and are friendly. They are not out with the guests...

This is perfectly located with everything in Salem within walking distance. The innkeepers were available when needed, but we had our privacy as desired. Room was small, as promised. AC worked well & room was quiet. Cancellation policy is generous, although we didn't use it. Nice that they provided free tickets to local attractions.
