Reservations through the hotel for a special university event were a nightmare. No.conformation for days. Number to call for changes in confirmation email was general Marriott phone number where I found out I was actually double booked but they couldn't change. Back to Tucson which changed reservation but wrong and on and on. Paid when arrived to upgrade to concierge...

Thank you for taking the time to fill out a review of the Tucson University Park Marriott. I am sorry that we did not live up to your expectations but do take your criticism as an opportunity to improve. Marriott full service hotels as a general rule have their concierge lounge closed on weekends. When we run higher occupancy on...

Pleasant people, small but service-oriented restaurant (three separate people stopped by our table when we were eating late, and they fired up a fresh pot of coffee when I asked for decaf. Clean rooms with everything you need, and twice I picked up the phone and got immediate help with my questions. Breakfast buffet had all you could want including...

First of all this property is in a great location close to the university area, especially the great atmosphere of University Ave pubs and restaurants. Also the Valet staff are top notch and can't do enough for you. Well worth the fee for valet parking. However, the hotel barely makes the Marriott standard. The rooms are fine, but perhaps a...

Thank you for your review of the hotel. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations for a Marriott hotel, however, one bar of facial soap and one shower gel as well as one regular coffee and one decaf coffee in the room is the Marriott Standard. If you desire more than that all you have to do is...

We have stayed here multiple times and have always had a good experience. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We have a Marriott card that entitles us to a room upgrade and concierge continental breakfast, etc. They were full due to a convention and the concierge room was closed so they gave us vouchers for breakfast in the main dining...

Daniel Maglione was exceptionally helpful and charming!! What a wealth of knowledge!!! I cannot tell you how amazing he is. I have stayed at an immense number of Marriott properties and he by far was one of the best tech people! I greatly believe that we will do additional events based on our interaction with him.

This is a very nice property with very big rooms. It's a combination of new furniture with old furniture. I could use some updates but it is a good property. The bed was excellent, very comfortable. The suite had a wet bar, microwave and small refrigerator. A little bit expensive for the place. Very good restaurant and sitting area in...

We were able to walk in and book 3 nights here with no problem. They do have great rates for AAA members and military families. We were military and were treated with much kindness. Our room was on the 8th floor, and was extremely quiet. The only complaint I have is the extra costs. $12 for high speed internet (free...

Thank you so much for filling out a review of the Tucson University Park Marriott. We really appreciate your business but even more important we appreciate your service to the United States of America. I usually check Tripadvisor, but in this case, I didn't. I actually worked at this hotel when it opened, and looked forward to visiting as a guest. On a trip across the country, my family and I stayed in numerous hotels and paid similar rates. The difference between those hotels and this Marriott was in the value. In other hotels,...

Thank you for filling out a review of the Tucson Marriott University Park. Since you worked at this location several years ago I'm sure you realize that since parking is at a premium in the University area and the hotel leases spaces from the University of Arizona that charging in this urban setting for parking is typical. In regards to...

It's a hotel built between the 90's in the atrium style. The lobby is like an oasis with water streaming around and a fountain. It's a nice shelter from the hot dessert air except I found out that the sound of doors banging shut must be reverberating in the atrium as I can hear every door that shuts in the...

We were passing through Tucson and decided to stay here because of it's convenient location to downtown shops/restaurants, however for it being a Marriott hotel, we were very disappointed.
