This was our first time staying in a B & B. The main house is very nice. The hosts, John and Steffi were always helpful if we needed directions or places to eat. Breakfast was very good and well rounded. We stayed 2 nights . We stayed in the MIca room. Bed was very comfortable but they need to have...

John Higgins is a mine of information about things to do in the Tucson area. We just returned form our second stay there and intend to go back again. The room (same one both times) was comfortable and the breakfasts fabulous. Even before you set out in the morning you are surrounded by a beautiful view and a back yard...

My daughter and I just returned from Tucson, Arizona where we stayed six nights at Desert Trails Bed and Breakfast. What a lovely relaxing stay we had!! The room and bathroom were very comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfasts were prepared by John, one of the owners and I kept asking him if he was sure he had not been...

My wife and I came to Tucson for New Years weekend to escape the cold of our current home city, Santa Fe, NM. We love to hike, climb, bike and run, and we were looking for a B&B right near the trails that would offer a clean, comfortable room, hosts that could give us some advice about the trails and...

We just returned from Tucson and 2 days at the Desert Trails. It was fantastic. Lovely rooms, great breakfasts (unbelievable pancakes!), and great hosts. We sat in the back yard amid beautiful trees and desert scenery and watched the sun go down, we hiked the trails of the Saguaro National Park (literally just across the road), and enjoyed the cozy...

We stayed at Desert Trails B&B for three nights the end of October 2012. It was the most wonderful, relaxing experience. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean and well-presented. We sat out by the pool and read and relaxed and watched the hummingbirds. John and Steffi were gracious hosts. We felt right at home. John helped us...

We stayed at Desert Trails for four nights in November 2012. It was wonderful. John is a great cook, and was accommodating for the early risers with a continental breakfast of cereal, toast, juice, coffee, fruit and yogurt. We watched the birds as cactus wrens, pyrrhuloxia, Gambol's quail, sparrows, flickers, Inca doves and mourning doves came to the mesquite tree...

My wife and I stayed here recently while we were visiting her sister who lives nearby. We only stayed one night, but that was enough to earn our recommendation. The room was lovely and spacious. We were the only ones there that night. As previously mentioned, John was friendly but not intrusive. We were allowed to check in at 11...

We stayed here October 19-24, 2012, and had a great stay stay. The owners were friendly & welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and different each day. The B&B is on the far east side of Tucson, right across the street from the National Park—so dark, quiet, starry nights, and easy National Park access...

In october 2012 we stayed at this beautiful B&B for 7 nights. From the very first moment till the last breakfast we felt welcome and at home. There is very good atmosphere everywhere in this house. We had booked the Mica Room. This room is absolutely outstanding, big and warmly furnished. The bathroom is very spacious. The whole house, the...
