This hotel has stunning scenery and most of our service in the restaurants, pool staff, bellman, and front desk were great. The bed is also extremely comfortable. However, this hotel is catered to families and not couples. The pools are CRAZY crowded with kids everywhere. We attempted to pay the spa daily fee of $50.00 for the two of us...

Great location and amenities, beautiful views and clean and well kept. This is the second time I have stayed here. However, for a marquee JW Marriott designation, I guess I expected the service to be a little better. During the day the lobby bar was closed even on weekend, the lines for cafe and starbucks were incredibly long and believe...

Attended a conference at this hotel. It is a beautiful setting with desert and mountains providing plenty of trails for hiking. Saw some elk hanging out on the golf course. The room was pleasant with a very large bathroom and a balcony. A cooler was provided, but not a fridge -- one has to wonder why they bothered with a...

What an amazing area they built this property on! Tucked away on the mountains, surrounded by nature preserves, overlooking the city of Tucson. I loved the walking paths with some of the plants labeled and the interpretive signs to help guests understand the desert around them. They have several different pools, one is a lazy river. I really wish I'd...

My family accompanied me on a business trip at this resort. The hotel staff provided impeccable service throughout our stay. Joe and Terry at the grill made you feel at home and special at the same time. The quality of the food was much better than typical hotel food. Emmanuel with the bell desk was very personal and provided helpful...

This is our 3rd time to Starr Pass and it has still lived up to it's name. We got our room quickly and we're even treated to a lazy river view room. Everyone we encountered from the pool staff, to front desk to our servers at dinner were kind, competent and thorough. What a lovely 11th anniversary escape! Of course,...

We went to my son's graduation and as always we stay at this hotel. We love it. The location is perfect surrounded by the desert vegetation. Beautiful view overlooking the city. Great restaurants and perfect atmosphere. Very polite employees. I recommend to everyone who enjoy the nature.

We always enjoy our time at starr pass, this last time included! The first night we had dirty water sitting in the tub (maybe housekeeping dumped dirty mop water and it didn't drain?). After we called front desk to let them know, maintenance showed up just a few minutes later. Don was a pleasure and so friendly, he even gave...

Unfortunately, I was on business travel that was cut short due to an emergency back on the east coast so I didn't get to spend as much time here as I would have liked. This event did end up demonstrating how amazing the staff at this hotel is. From check-in, to bell staff, to the bartenders - everyone was very...

We really enjoyed our time here. This is a very secluded property so you have to take a cab or uber ride to do anything in Tucson. There are a few restaurants on the property and another within walking distance though. I loved that there is a Starbucks in the hotel too! Rooms are spacious and everything was clean. Nice...
