Let me start by saying, “We LOVE this place,” which is why we have already booked again for next year, and are bringing other family members for our second visit. Having made that clear, let me do my best to give a balanced review, as this place may be perfect only for many people, not everyone. First, location. If being...

We have been visiting Azure Gate for 10 years and we hope to continue our visits. It is truly an oasis in the Sonoran desert. A beautiful property, with well appointed, comfortable rooms and the most delicious breakfast we have ever eaten. Always amazed that Dennis and Christine are able to come up with new recipes, even though we have...

This was our 4th or 5th time here. Everything was serene and welcoming. we stayed in the Catalina House as it has the most privacy and had a lovely time. I think I mentioned in my last review that the art could use an update...some of the wonderful photos that Dennis has taken would be ideal. The breakfasts were just...

This year our stay at the Azure Gate extended to six days at the end of February. That meant six gourmet breakfasts. (After that, anything I prepare at home is paltry in comparison.) For once we stayed in one of the two casitas on the property, which made our stay even more delightful (already signed up for next year). The...

In March, 2017 we made our third trip to the Azure Gate. We obviously love this B&B and do not hesitate to recommend it. We stay in one of the two bedrooms, which are not large, but creatively decorated, very clean and with a super comfortable bed. There is a small TV in the room, and a library off the...

Great B&B experience! The hosts were warm and welcoming and breakfasts by Dennis were a foodie's dream! Large, rambling house with several casitas that were already booked so my daughter and I had a large and comfortable bedroom and bathroom in the main house. Other visitors who were there at the same time were all long-time repeat customers. Says something...

Such a great place to stay in Tucson - Dennis and Christine are wonderful people who truly care for their guests. Dennis was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about wildlife in the area. Great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast is out of this world! This was our first BnB and Azure Gate set the bar very high...

We have recently returned from our ninth annual visit to Azure Gate and are already signed up for the next three years! Yes, it is that wonderful. As always, Christine and Dennis are the congenial hosts, and really your family in Tucson. What to see. What to do. Where the birds are, or the mountain lions. What would be good...

Beautiful setting & the breakfasts were gourmet quality. We've gone to lots of B&Bs & this was far above the best food! They also had snacks & drinks on hand. The grounds are full of different kinds of cactus & it's not far from the mountains away from the busy downtown. The hosts were very helpful with questions about the...

In a word… “amazing”. This is the diamond in the rough that we are always searching for, but seldom find. The room we had was very comfortable, with a kitchen and roomy “living area”, complete with cable TV and a huge library of DVDs. Lots of space, total privacy, and very, very comfortable accommodations (comfy bed, bathrobes, couch… the whole...
