My boyfriend and I needed a last minute place to stay as he was offered a job in Tucson so we opted for the private room. It's been great the staff has helped me a lot with house hunting and have been very friendly. I will recommend this location to anyone.

tma 223, we couldn't possibly disagree more. The Roadrunner has always taken care of us. Sounds like tma 223 is looking for a motel where you don't have to interact with anyone. The private rooms are just that. Private. The locks have never failed as long as you can punch in numbers on a keypad. If you are a single...

As my first stay in a hostel, I was relieved at how welcoming, safe and accommodating the environment was. I had flown in from Canada, alone, and on a tight budget and wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was great staff and management, friendly people and clean facilities. Everyone was pretty respectful of being quiet when coming in...

This place had such rave reviews that I was certain it would be a nice experience. However, that did not end up being the case. This is only my second hostel experience, so perhaps the first place just set the bar too high?? Well here goes my review of the Roadrunner hostel affectionately known to my friends and I as...

This was the best hostel I have stayed at. I stayed 4 nights, alone, in the female dorm. Even though I checked in late at night (due to a late plane connection) there were several friendly faces to greet me. I was immediately shown around and made to feel at home. The hostel has everything you need, plus more that...

For other long-time fans of the Roadrunner Hostel--its better than ever. Men's shower has been completely redone, the building painted, new double windows installed. Staff and management still appear to take a genuine pride in the property, and are committed to giving the guests a good experience. For several years It has been my home base whenever I go through...

When I first moved to Tucson, I did not know anyone. I am a naturally shy woman and was worried about fitting in. While staying at the Roadrunner I was shown excellent customer service, a clean environment and a free waffle and coffee breakfast. I met amazing people that some I still keep in contact. Stay at the Roadrunner Hostel,...

I have stayed here on and off for over a year, and it has been amazing! Right near downtown, so you can walk to all the good restaurants and shopping, super clean (they clean it EVERY DAY for 3 hours!), they make waffles every morning, and the manager is an awesome person! Always willing to help you out with a...

We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance of our moving to Tucson from NY. We had to arrive a few days late due to a medical emergency during our drive from NY. He was very short on the phone. When we arrived, we found out he booked our room to someone else and never told us. It was not...
