Our stay at this hotel was for over two weeks. We were in between homes and needed a nice place. Varsity Club in Tucson was a welcoming and fun atmosphere for our whole family. We had a very nice stay. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly! Rooms were clean and everything seemed to function well. Weekend games and...

Overall, it was super nice. The way everything is set up though made me feel as if I was in a compound. Cameras on every corner, scary security guy at night that will harass anyone. The workers, eh they were ok. The star quality of this place comes from the room. It's really nice. Big room, living room, kitchen, bath,...

When we booked a one bedroom unit, the information stated it accommodated 4 people. Having stayed at other Diamond resorts in the area - Scottsdale Mirage and Sedona Summit - where the one bedroom units were identical and quite large - full kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area - we expected the same. However, the one bedrooms at the Varsity...

The Varsity is not really a hotel. It is a low price, budget time share development that rents suites. It is perfectly adequate, and great for budget conscious families, but there is no restaurant, no real service to the rooms, ie. no linen service, no luggage assistance etc. There is a nice pool. We were here for parent's weekend at...

I understand my room was booked at a nonrefundable rate, but this is the only hotel I've ever asked for accommodation that wouldn't either rebook the unused rooms for another date or refund them after part of our workload was unexpectedly rescheduled by our customer. (I was told that had it been a cruise that was cancelled or rescheduled, it...

Thank you for your review. We apologize if you haven't heard from anyone regarding your concerns. The experience you describe is not at all an accurate reflection of our top priority, which is to provide unsurpassable customer service. Typically, non-refundable reservations would not get a credit to return or a refund because of it being non-refundable. However, our guests have...

We were guests of another couple, so I cannot comment on the value per money spent. There were renovations going on, but the work crew was very neat and since we were gone all day, it had no impact on our stay. We were very suprised that the one bedroom suite was so well-appointed. Every little thing was provided for,...

This is our 2nd stay at Varsity Clubs of America. It's such a great place for us, we use points through our Diamond Resorts timeshare, and so far, it's been available every time I've needed up (Parent's weekend in October is already booked!) We have a 2 bedroom this time, and it's spacious, clean and we have everything we need!...

We booked using our Gold Level Diamond Resort Points. Rooms were OK and clean, but could be furnished better for DRI resort. Lacked security safe, disposal, dishwasher. Room 230 was nice and large located in rear corner of bldg. Check in was cannot be classified as good service. Felt like we were being treated akin to airlines on delayed flight...

I've been to Tucson for a week or two four times over the years and survived. This time I had an experience that I would enjoy again any time of the year! This Varsity Clubs of America Suites was available for a week for an average of $66 per night. I walked into a spacious room with a kitchen with...

We own at Diamond Resorts, and are Gold members which is supposed to entitle us to certain benefits, however we have yet been able to utilize these benefits. Example: We booked for this June 28-July 2 2014 stay at Varsity and specifically asked fpr a particular room and were told we had that room locked in. Upon check in we...
