We were excited about our two night stay in the desert at Paca de Paja B&B and were not disappointed. Caroline is an environmentally conscious, gracious host, who made us feel very welcome. She is a pleasure to chat with and shares her vast knowledgeable about the area including her maps and books. Her little dog Hampton is quiet and...

I was given a nights stay from my cousin, as I live not too far away and this was a needed getaway! Thank you for a very enjoyable time away from the hustle and bustle! The breakfast was made to order and the warm tea before bed was great. Caroline was a wonderful hostess. If you want to see Birds,...

Thanks, Sharon, for your kind words. It was great to have you and Nila here. I hope you can come out again when you need another retreat.

Paca de Paja Our stay with Caroline was the highlight of our 5,000 mile road trip. So much so that we extended our time with her to include an extra day, which we spent relaxing and painting. Everything about Paca de Paja is arranged for the comfort and convenience of guests, from a separate reading room to a private patio....

Thanks, Darwin, for your comment. It was fun to have you and Beverly here -- I enjoyed seeing the painting Beverly created and was impressed with your artwork. Come back and stay at Paca de Paja again!

We spent two nights on a recent trip to Tucson (hoping to see the stars at Kitt Peak, but surprisingly were rained out); Caroline is an outstanding hostess and her B&B is a nicely designed adobe (straw bale) single family home in a neighborhood about 20 minutes outside of Tucson. She has landscaped the grounds to feel like the true...

During a recent trip to Tucson I had a couple of days with no firm plans, so on a lark I booked the Paca de Paja--the straw-bale construction caught my eye and my fancy. Our stay there ended up being the highlight of the trip! On first arriving you may think you are in the middle of nowhere, but it...

I lived in Tucson several years back and I wanted to make certain that I was able to show my fiancé the real Tucson (not the hotels and city). Caroline has a perfect place with all the perfect parts of Tucson living and the southwest built in. You will be the only guest and she will provide you the peace...

We've enjoyed many B&B's in our travels, but Paca de Paja is second to none in our experience. The accommodations could not have been more lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional and thoughtfully prepared by Caroline. She immediately made us feel at home. Because of Caroline's vast knowledge of the area, she was the perfect day trip planner for us!...

This little B&B is litterally tucked away in the desert and only has one suite. We spent 3 days with our wonderful host Caroline, who provided us with lots of information to explore the surrounding area. Along with our bedroom we had a great little library and a beautiful private courtyard for relaxing and wildlife viewing. We saw roadrunners and...

The husband and I took some time to ride to Tucson's Kitt Peak Observatory and while there for the weekend we decided to stay at a local bed and breakfast called Paca de Paja and we left feeling spoiled. It was our first time staying at a B & B instead of a hotel so we were a bit nervous....

This charming B&B really is in the boonies - but is convenient for Kitt Peak and for hiking in the desert. It has only one room on offer so reservations are imperative. You get a bedroom and a living room and a private patio where you can relax and enjoy the desert birds and the stars. There is a small...
