We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Home Port Inn. The hospitality was wonderful. The room (we stayed in the Library) was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. And the location is great -- a short walk to town. It was our first time to Lubec, and we hope to return. If so, we'll try again to stay at the... More

The Home Port Inn is just a lovely Inn with a wonderful attentive Inn Keeper - Suzanne. The setting is beautiful - I believe the highest point in Lubec. The grounds and gardens are well tended and inviting with surrounding ground level decks. The interior is spotless and the breakfasts, prepared by Suzanne ,are delicious as well as beautiful to... Let me first preface this by saying I am not usually a person who stays at B&B's because oftentimes I feel obligated to share every detail of my day with the host or feel obligated to be part of the communal breakfast. This was one of the few times where I felt I had made the right choice rather than... More

Though we stayed only 1 night it was a memorable one. We received a warm welcome from Suzannah, the owner and gracious host during our stay. We stayed in the The Bay View room which was beautiful and cozy with awesome views of Cobscook Bay. The room is nicely appointed with comfy chairs to snuggle up in to read a... More

Knowing very little about Lubec, we were pleased to find a charming friendly village. The Home Port Inn was the perfect place to stay: conveniently located near the downtown and its restaurants. Susannah is a charming hostess who makes you feel immediately welcome. The inn is nicely appointed, rooms are spacious, and breakfasts were 5 star. Easy drives to Campobello... More

We stayed two nighst at the Home Port Inn, in two different rooms, because we extended our reservation from one to two nights after our first night. The inn feels like home, with a beautiful living room to sit and read, and lovely, beautifully decorated bedrooms. Our first night was in the library, and the bed was comfortable, with a... More

A truly beautiful home...we were lucky to get the last available room as it was the weekend of the annual Bay of Fundy International Marathon/Road Race. Lots of activity in the town and the Inn. We could walk downtown to Water Street for shops and restaurants. We had a tastefully decorated room on the second floor, overlooking the pretty side... More

We had a great stay at the Home Port Inn! Suzannah, made us feel so welcome! We stayed in the Guest Room which was small but cozy and very clean. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom was small but perfectly nice with plenty of towels. As stated by others, this is a bed and breakfast in... More

Lovely owner of a a very nice BnB. Good location and our room #7 had a nice view down to the water. Our room was comofrtable, but a touch cramped and the chair by the bed could be removed or a smaller one put there to help. Enjoyed the breakfasts each morning.
