Really not worth the expense. Check in process was not professionally handled. I had to call multiple time to make a change, people either hung up on me or kept me on hold for 30+ minutes. Nice hotel - but expensive. There are many other options in the downtown Providence area.

Many friends always ask us why we prefer to stay at the older Providence Biltmore each time we take a train to NYC. Let me explain on our recent stay. Since we are Diamond members with the Hilton brand, we can book a standard nice room and if they have availability for upgrades, we can get upgraded. Again this happened...

Several years ago this was a decent place to stay. Not anymore. The hotel is seedy, and our room was depressing with stains on carpet and wallpaper. It wasn't very clean, dust and old smudges and fingerprints everywhere. Even the hallways needed vacuuming. Our bathroom was smaller than the closet - truly! And only one tiny towel bar barely able...

I had a lovely stay at this hotel from April 23-27, 2017. My only complaint was that there was a jackhammer running through the night the first night I stayed, however this wasn't the hotel's fault. I love the charm of this old hotel. Staff were very friendly and I want to give special praise to the following staff members:...

Definitely not worth the price. The room was old and the only upgrade was to add a coat of paint, no prep, just paint over the cracks and previously pealed paint. The bed barely fit into the room, there was a tiny closet and one small night stand with two small drawers. The only nice thing was a flat screen...

Returning from a very-small-ship cruise into Warren, RI, we opted to stay one night in Providence before flying home. As a Hilton "Diamond" member, I was given a lovely two-room suite on an upper floor and a $10 per person credit for breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel (not a Hilton property). Although the weather was cool for May,...

Heading to RI was a last minute deal but what a trip! The folks at the Biltmore were so friendly, guiding us to make the most out of our 2 day stay.. Perfect location to Federal Hill and great shopping center near by.

Hotel was very nice, modern with a touch of heritage. It was only a 15 minute walk to RISD and Brown campuses. It's also right across the street from the mall. There's a lot bars close by as well. If you're a fan of sushi, highly recommend Nami, some of the best sushi I've had. It's about a 20 minute...

So, the hotel is visibly aged from the exterior but then again, it is a historical landmark for the city. The reception is decent, and we were checking into a suite and another room and as we checked in, we were given gifts for being Hilton H-Honor members. Two bottles of water for each room! Oh my god, that might...

Room temperature cold with no heat. Our room that we ore checked into was not available at checkin and we were down graded to a smaller room. Front desk manager was arrogant and didn't do a single thing to accommodate us. No apologies from Eric at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It saddens me to hear such comments. I know our Management Team had made a few exemptions when allowing your reservation to be moved into the discounted block of rooms which in the end created some confusion.
