I have stayed in hotels around the world- at airports, in NYC and have never stayed at a hotel where I could not sleep at all. The noise level from the streets below made it feel as though I was sleeping outside. It sounds as though some type of drag racing takes place until 3 am daily. When I brought...

This was our final hotel stay of 4 on a 5 day whirlwind tour of 10 northeast colleges. By far, the nicest of the four and great location. Walkable to Brown. We were on the 6th floor so street noise was not an issue. AC unit very quiet as was our hall. Beds comfortable. Our tub drained slowly but otherwise,...

This is our 2nd favorite place to stay when in Providence. It is located within walking distance to numerous bars/restaurants and the Providence Place Mall. It has all been recently updated. The only downside is that they do not have a regular bar/restaurant in the building, though you can get coffee, etc in the lobby.

We stayed at the Marriott for 3 days/2 nights and didn't sleep the entire time! The road construction was horrible and began each night just before bed and continued ALL NIGHT...jack hammering, excavation equipment, back up alarms, workers yelling...made for a horrible nights rest!! The entire hotel was noisy and everyone in our party had an awful sleeping experience no...

The negatives outweigh the good at this hotel in downtown Providence. No restaurant, no bar scene, cold showers, parking expensive. Front desk couldn't even find what room my friends were in. No pool.

It's in a good location, clean and has the amenities you'd want. The staff are very friendly and not overly intrusive. The food is fine, not extra special but certainly tasty. The bar is well-stocked however I'd avoid the white wine - low quality with poor flavour. That said, I'd happily stay there again

This hotel was clean, well-kept and had a convenient location. My father was ill by the time we got to the hotel and the staff was great about calling for medical help. They were kind and helpful to my parents during their five night stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The people working the front desk were friendly and efficient. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated, similar to most Marriott Courtyards. We were very disappointed to be woken up to loud road construction directly outside our window. We were treated to an entire night of beeping from construction vehicles backing up and loud metal banging. It was impossible to...

We've been coming to the Providence Downtown Courtyard for years. Recently refurbished, you cannot get a better situated hotel in Providence. Close to The Dunkin Center, across the street from Kennedy Plaza and its array of gourmet food trucks, across the street from Providence Place Mall...just to name a few. Oh yeah, you can view Waterfire from many of the...

We enjoyed the stay there. It was convenient while checking out JWU. We ate dinner at the bistro. It had a pretty light menu which is what we wanted. Other restaurants were nearby. The service and staff were wonderful. There was a charge for parking which seems typical in downtown hotels.
