The Motel under current owner has been nicely remodeled. Beds are comfy. Our room was a nonsmoking room and believe the whole place my be. This is nice as my wife is allergic to cigarette smoke. The place is very clean, tidy and has a breakfast. thanks

Our family came to Estes for a quick little after Christmas getaway. We stayed for 2 relaxing nights! We stayed in one of the double queen rooms. The room was clean, warm and very inviting. The room had wood finishing and cute lamps throughout. I especially enjoyed the fuzzy blanket on the bed. We actually spent quite a bit of...

Loved everything about it, clean, tidy, pleasant rooms. Fridge and microwave oven in the room. Breakfast area has a nice fireplace. The lady at the front desk was also very nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back here.

Pavel - Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our motel! Our rooms aren't the biggest, and our motel isn't the largest place in town, but we have really worked tirelessly to make it comfortable and special for people who want to stay away from the typical hotel feel type places. Thanks for your kind words...

Great place for an early winter stay in Estes Park. We enjoyed the entire experience, from making our reservation, checking in, recommendations on where to eat and of course the room itself. Property is very nicely maintained and room was squeaky clean. Continental breakfast had all we needed, and is in a quaint room. Elk across the street were an...

IrishFan - Sometimes people ask if we pay the elk to hang around, and I really wish it was that simple! We see them pretty regularly in the fall, and it's great that you got to experience seeing them up close as well. We try to help guests out with recommendations while respecting that some people want to do their...

Stayed just one night but a good one. Very thing is clean and staff was nice. They have a good location, near the town and the RMNP. They also offer free simple breakfast so you get more bang for your money. Only thing is they are very strict with check out time.

Trica6y - Thank you for staying with us and we're glad you enjoyed our motel. The location is one of the best aspects of our place and most people just walk downtown or take a short drive to get into the Park. We apologize for any perceived lack of flexibility on check out time, as sometimes we're bound by the...

Comfortable, cozy, updated, very clean and nicely appointed. Highly recommend! Continental breakfast offered many varieties of items, and we ate ours next to the fireplace. We will definitely go again.

Mae - Thank you for the kind words and we're glad to hear you enjoyed your time here! While we do have the constraints of a building built 40 years ago, we have made the most of our special place and are glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again and we hope you can return to Estes in the future.

This is my first trip to Rocky Mountain Denver Colorado. Although the weather was cold, we were pleased to experience fallen snow and Maxwell Inn ambience and surrounding is simply marvellous. Dana, the owner, is friendly and gives us good tips about RMNP. A cozying resort place indeed

Esther - It was very nice to meet you and your family and it's great to hear that you enjoyed Estes and our place so much! I'm so happy it snowed a bit for you while you were here, and just a couple days after you left we had one day where the temps got down to -18deg F overnight!...

My husband and I loved everything about our short stay at The Maxwell Inn during our first visit to Estes Park. We booked our accommodations the same day and were happy to learn that a queen bedroom on the first floor was available. The place was spotless and the decor felt modern yet cozy. Psharma - Thank you for deciding to stay here last weekend! The winter is a very different time in Estes, much slower and calm. If you can handle the colder weather when hiking or being out and about, it's pretty enjoyable. We're glad that you enjoyed your quick stay with us. The Roam toiletries are made in the USA, which...

Max - Thank you for taking the time to review the place, and it was my pleasure to help you two during your stay! Having just 17 rooms total means that we can offer a different environment than a chain hotel, or a place with fifty or sixty rooms. We're glad you enjoyed it! Give us a call the next...
