What a pleasant surprise!! These cabins are fabulous, located close to Fall River Entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. These cabins are old, with older decor, but so nice, comfy and affordable. We had a 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, combined living/dining area and a porch w/BBQ. The owner was so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Summer prices...

We have stayed at Amberwood about 7-10 times over the years. We have always stayed in one of the cabins including this year, but we hope to try the regular hotel rooms at some point as well. It is always very enjoyable. We have tried some other places before and nothing ever compares to Amberwood. The location, scenery, and environment...

I stayed here before heading to Rocky Mountain National Park - which is right up the road. I stayed in one of the mountain lodge rooms. Had a nice little porch with chairs that I could relax and hear the nearby creek and look at the sunset over the Rocky's. Room was very rustic, but was clean and comfortable. Had...

We stayed on our way to a few days of camping in Rocky Mountain Natl Park. Spa room was clean, comfortable, nice king size bed, quiet. Shower, towels & linens were very nice. Owner was very helpful with tips on places to eat & hikes to take as we adjusted to the altitude & gradation of the hikes. Only small...

Bob and I loved our stay at Amberwood! We stayed in one of the rooms in the lower level of the Mountain Lodge---it was very comfortable and we had a nice view. The staff is wonderful and very personable. We will definitely be staying at Amberwood in the future---we look forward to returning!

We've stayed at Amberwood in the past in the motel type accommodations, but this time stayed in cabin. It had great views and a nice layout. Pros: View, layout, near park entrance, quick ride to Estes shops and restaurants, and very relaxing to sit out front each evening. Cons: Amberwood doesn't change bed linen in the cabins. If you want...

The owner is very friendly and provides great information on some good hikes. The cabins are wonderful, the beds are comfortable and there are kitchens if you wish to cook your own food. Located a 5 min drive out of town it provides a secluded stay close to the national park!

We went with friends. Four of us in all. It was clean which is important for me. I think the best thing about the place was a staff member named Todd. He loves this area and had such great joy in telling you about the park and things to do. It was a little on the small size but nothing...

This is not a remote in the wild type of cabin but with nature all around gives you that seclusion. We stayed in edelweiss haus, nice little cabin close to nature. We saw mountain Ram during our stay. 3 min drive from Fall River visitor center to enter into RMNP. Edelweiss haus is good for one small family. Will stay...

The room we stayed in was nothing fancy. It had a fire place that we used every night, and we both agreed that having it not like a fancy motel made it more fun! The couple running the place was very nice, and so was the front desk lady. And for $55 a night, it gave us more money to...
