The cabin was very rustic and simple yet wonderful accomodations and amenities. They have a good selection of wholesome family DVD movies in the office that can be checked out for free. The fireplace in the cabin was a unique plus that you won't get in a hotel room. Elk in the front yard. Reasonable prices. What more could you...

We stayed in the Honeymoon Haven cabin which has a spacious & comfortable dining/sitting area, a king size bed in a roomy loft with a view of the wildlife, (a cow, calf & bull elk just walked by). The area is quiet, the cabin is clean & "homey" with T&G pine walls, the bathroom is also quite comfortable with a...

We spent 3 nights in room #14 of the motel-style Mountain Lodge. Pros: the bed was clean and comfy, the room had a microwave and refrigerator, the shower had plenty of hot water, there was baseboard electric heat and a window a/c, a fireplace and complementary firewood, and we were only two miles from RMNP's Fall River entrance and from...

We stayed in one of the unremodeled cabins because we love the quaint feel of the original design. This is about the 15th year we have stayed at Amberwood both in the 'motel' units and 3 different cabins. We love the service, the people who run it are so friendly. Always clean and very accommodating and at a reasonable price....

Two night stop while we visited the Rockies n our road trip north. Very comfortable bed - room 17, one of a block of 8. Double bed, two armchairs, TV, 2 chairs on balcony. AC unit. Parking would be tight for 5 cars beside these units but you would find a space elsewhere. 'Roads' in the complex are dirt tracks...

We stayed in the Mountain Lodge Deluxe Spa #18. It had a fireplace, comfy king bed, jacuzzi tub, glass block shower for two, flat screen hdtv and was very clean, cozy and in a great location. We enjoyed having a fire each night (firewood/starter supplied) . The location was great for quick access to Rocky Mtn National Park or Estes...
